2. ADJUSTOPHOBIA? PLEASE!

.
A colleague, who teaches at a chiropractic institution located somewhere on Earth, recently told me a shocking story. Apparently there was a lower quarter student who presented to the student clinic for evaluation and treatment of a serious neurological problem. The dizziness, migraines, and neck pain were becoming so severe that the student was having great difficulty completing his studies.

X-rays, MRI, CT scan and chiropractic exam ruled out pathology and clearly pointed to axis subluxation. But the student intern was forbidden by the clinic doctors from adjusting the patient unless ‘further medical evaluation’ was done to rule out other possible brain defects.

Having been told this story by the patient, my colleague promptly put the student on an adjusting table and delivered a very specific, high-velocity adjustment.

Routine chiropractic. Anybody ever hear of it…?

Now anyone who’s been in practice for any amount of time might guess the next part of the story: the student was about 100% improved by the one adjustment.

But the fable is not over. Hearing of the student’s improvement, the clinic doctors went postal. They proceeded then to unreasonable extremes to ensure that such a thing (as a real chiropractic adjustment) would not occur in the future. Not on their watch!

So let us look at some of the consequences of this tale, and the policies it reveals.

First, the effect on the patient. Having now experienced first-hand the power of the chiropractic adjustment, where all else had failed, the patient can no longer be tricked. No one else was any help at all except the adjustor. If not for that adjustment, the student’s condition would be deteriorating further. No fancy phrases can dissuade this prospective DC of the truth his CNS now knows. So how is this individual to reconcile the clinic’s feeble, pathetic attempts to pretend like what just happened didn’t really happen? That ‘real medicine’ must be brought in to verify and evaluate the profound reconnection he just experienced.

This student is about to spend $175,000 and four years of his life learning this profession. Being confronted with these profound contradictions, might this person now think about looking around for a school whose stated philosophy is more in harmony with what his nervous system just experienced? Why are the teachers trying to deny what happened?

Second, the student intern. Forget about the difficulty of finding patients willing to be treated by student DCs, this young intern was confronted with the genuine article, right out of the gate. That is, a case of the classic vertebral subluxation. After seeing all the clinical indications of it, he was then told that this was not it, and furthermore that whatever this was would be too dangerous to attempt with mere chiropractic. This severely displaced vertebra, the epitome of vertebral subluxation by any measure, was beyond our scope!

Even with the dramatic success of the legitimate adjustment by a real professional.

Now if this intern has no other source of information, mightn’t he begin to wonder whether he has just been deceived by a group of incompetent posers, and might not his perception of his chosen profession be permanently traumatized?

Third, the clinic doctors. Please, let’s not use the phrase ‘just doing their job.’ Doesn’t really apply here. These were presumably licensed DCs who made it all the way through school and testing without being able to recognize the unique service that chiropractic offers the world – to detect and correct the vertebral subluxation. This was a judgment call – no matter what the school’s policy was, their decision here means that the directors of this clinic are unable to identify the one entity that, by law and by licensure, DCs exist to address. And they lacked the courage to correct it.

Finally, the institution. Its role can best be assessed with a group of questions:

Is chiropractic philosophy an integral part of the curriculum?

What is the school’s mission statement?

What is the school’s stated definition of chiropractic?

Does it mention the word subluxation, as included in every state’s legal definition of chiropractic?

How often does the faculty get adjusted?

What percentage of the faculty has ever practiced?

Do clinic doctors have to demonstrate any level of adjusting competency whatsoever before they are hired to teach students clinical chiropractic?

Has the institution’s philosophy of education undergone any radical transformations in the past 3 years?

The Art, Science, and Philosophy of chiropractic were complete when BJ and DD handed it down to us. Of course there can be improvements in the art and science of adjusting, as real professionals achieve mastery, with years of practice. But the whole package was complete when we got it. Are we going to allow the unanchored few to transform chiropractic into an anemic imitation of the original?

See the contrast here – between the veteran doctor for whom detection and correction of this displacement was just everyday routine – nothing out of the ordinary. And the new slaves to fashion, ‘teachers’ of the New Agenda – the you-can’t-be-too-careful, we’re-not-really-doctors-after-all, it’s-too-dangerous herd… See the contrast?

Between those two poles there gapes an abyss.

The global agenda to trivialize and dilute chiropractic – that we all know about but nobody talks about – is not new. True, it has skyrocketed in the last 3 years. But BJ fought this exact same battle, all his life. It’s all through the green books.

Those who chant that there’s no proof subluxation exists haven’t looked for any. That’s the substance of the new

Chiropractic Seminar.

3. Excerpt from
Vaccination Is Not Immunization, 3rd ed. 2013

.
PREVNAR

“Since its addition to the Schedule in 2002, the Prevnar (PCV) vaccine has been surrounded by controversy. Prevnar contains elements of Strep pneumoniae and diphtheria bacteria, and is marketed as protection for otitis media and bacterial meningitis.

The first and most striking problem with Prevnar is the claim that it protects against otitis media, which is usually a simple earache. Practically all babies get temporary earaches, which are mild and self-limiting and resolve in a day or two. Even the 2007 PDR cites 90% as the figure for infant earaches. [244]

It may be surprising to review the definition of otitis media:

“a visually abnormal tympanic membrane suggesting effusion” [227] (p 3468)

That means looking in the baby’s ear, the ear drum appears red. This can happen after crying. There’s no culture, no blood test, nothing besides looking in the ear necessary to diagnose the commonplace “otitis.” Inflammation, not infection.

So why would violating a child’s bloodstream with a vaccine be necessary to prevent such a mild condition?

Are there any side effects from such a marginally important vaccine? Here’s a partial list, according to the manufacturer:

fever
anaphylactic shock
seizure
hives
heart failure
gastroenteritis
rash
thrush
asthma
choking
pneumonia
conjunctivitis
otitis media

- 2007 PDR p 3468 [227]

Wait a minute. Otitis media as a side effect of the vaccine? Wasn’t that what the vaccine was for? And pneumonia? Is it a surprise that injecting healthy kids with Strep pneumoniae might cause pneumonia? And look at all the other serious side effects.
As we read through the manufacturer’s description of the original clinical trials, he states that the subjects were receiving all other standard vaccines at the same time. So how many of these other vaccines list otitis media as a side effect? Answer: 5.

Does that mean we needed this new vaccine to take care of a side effect from other vaccines? Looks like it. The only way this study would have been legitimate would have been if the control group were unvaccinated.

By the way, there were 12 deaths among the original subjects. [227]

The next amazing part of the sales job for Prevnar is the claim of protection against bacterial meningitis – an extremely rare disease in the US. The 2007 PDR claims that the incidence is “7 per 100,000” ([227] p 3463) and cites a source from a study written up in the 2 Oct 1997 New England Journal of Medicine [160]. But looking at the actual figures cited in the NEJM study itself, one finds they are claiming less than 1 case per 100,000 of bacterial meningitis. ([160], page 970) Guess the PDR sales force figure no one would actually look up the sources they cite, which generally is true. We can learn two things here:

1. PDR’s sources can’t necessarily be trusted, and

2. the incidence of bacterial meningitis is 7x rarer than they claim.

PROVEN EFFICACY

Does the Prevnar vaccine work? This subject is addressed head-on by a very thoroughly researched article entitled Prevnar: a critical review of a new childhood vaccine, by British educator MichaelHorwin. [161] The original clinical trials on Prevnar resulted in only

a 7% reduction
in earaches from the vaccine. That’s the highest benefit they’re can claim for Prevnar – a vaccine for simple childhood earache, with all the above dangerous side effects, that may only work 7% of the time.”

4. CalJam:
Premier West Coast Chiropractic Event
Orange County, CA – 23 March

.
Going to be the biggest ever. You’ve heard the good and the bad, but like Sid always said – there’s no such thing as bad press!

Come and see for yourself. All your old friends will be there. And some new ones too!

It’s in momentum- nobody can stop it now.

Not a Facebook event – this is real life!

In today’s global attempt to change chiropractic into something completely alien from its origins and legacy, an intriguing phenomenon is taking shape. There is a line in the sand being drawn between those who have been shown the traditional principles of chiropractic, the way DD and BJ developed it, with its virtually unlimited healing potential – and – the other side – the revisionists, who take many names, who have decided that since they never understood the original scope and intent of chiropractic, as has been defined by law and practice for the past century, they are going to effect a metamorphosis into something a little tamer, a little less provocative, a little less, well – holistic.

No one talks about the rift, but anyone who looks can see it, clear as an elephant. Chiro PC and all that, you know. You can’t always tell the players apart because many of the revisionists realize they can get some mileage out of pretending to be traditional subluxation-type DCs, so they’ll wear that hat on special occasions. Politics. The chameleons.

It’s particularly difficult for students and the new docs, because they’re suddenly thrown into this maelstrom of hype and controversy, where the lines are not clearly marked, and many players pretend to be on opposite sides on different days. It can be very confusing.

So this might be a viable criterion for evaluating a school, or association, or any organization of DCs for that matter: would BJ be welcome there as a speaker? Or would he be banned? Or would they fawn over him to his face and deride him behind his back? If you can’t figure it out, ask them. Then decide if you believe the answer.

These are the ideas we’re going to elaborate in the Seattle seminar on 9 March (see Section 1 above). It will be like a Carrick-for-dummies kind of CalJam science warm-up type of seminar. And the irony of how today’s best neuroscience is corroborating these original notions of DD and BJ. If you have no idea what I’m talking about at all, then you really need to be there.

Another telling criterion for the validity of this discussion is success. Successful DCs reading this will wonder – why bring up this subject at all? Why are we talking about it? It’s self-evident. What do you think we tell patients every day? How do you think we got all these people to actually show up in this busy clinic all these years? How would you dare to open a practice without knowing that chiropractors are the only doctors who would even think of facilitating this missing connection with the power that animates the living universe? Without that, what are we? Subspecialists of massage? Simian manipulators?

The real blueprint for success is out there – a new fountainhead. Some upcoming dips:

5. CHALLENGE TO DEBATE

.
Since the new book came out, I have been hearing many loud voices proclaiming the safety and necessity of vaccines. So let’s make this very simple:

I hereby challenge any and all parties who wish to defend the scientific value of vaccines to a public debate, to be held in the classic collegiate forensics format.

I have advisors from the best university debate departments who will moderate.

So step forward, all you experts in vaccine theory. Here’s your chance to be heard. Teacher or poser? Expert or dilettante? Do you have the courage to step up and defend your private contentions in public? Some credentials required, but will consider all takers. What say you? Want to be taken seriously? Here’s your chance.

How about some chiropractic professors? Want to keep hiding, or will you step up? Let’s bring the issue out in the open once and for all. Many people are waiting to hear your side of it.

6. Peanut Allergy/ Vaccine Connection Correction

.
A phony, ghost written article recently appeared on several of the cattle-call health websites, misquoting my chapter on Vaccines and the Peanut Allergy Epidemic. It had several different pseudonyms as author, none of them real.

The hypothesis linking skyrocketing vaccination rates with the sudden epidemic of peanut anaphylaxis emerging in the past 15 years is compelling. It is the only reasonable explanation that has been put forward to explain why suddenly over a million children are hypersensitive to peanuts, and only in the most vaccinated countries.

But this article, which pretends to paraphrase my original chapter Vaccines and the Peanut Allergy Epidemic, is the epitome of internet cyberbabble. More precisely the Babel Effect – that’s when someone makes up a phony quote or unsourced item of junk science, publicizes it, then others quote it, and soon you have a whole network of error engendered from the one bad source. The Babel Effect – the bane of websearch epistemology.

For the real story, look at the original chapter and see how overwhelming is the evidence to support the vaccine connection.

No bad press, right?

Vaccination Is Not Immunization, 3rd ed. 2013

.
SOMEWHERE MACHIAVELLI SMILES

Perhaps the darkest consequence of all the foregoing is that most of us have lost confidence in the inner curative power of Nature – the body’s inborn wisdom. A hundred media snippets a day, week after week, year after year, have undermined our ability to even consider the notion that 99.9% of infants may be perfect as they are. Or that their pure blood is the most sacred medium in the universe, the crucible in which the human genome itself was meant to be safeguarded and passed on from age to age. Or that the immune system can only develop to its full potential if left to its own devices, largely unknown to human science.

Such natural, vital postulates as these sound foreign to our ears, even fanatical, cultist. Clear, rational, independent thinking has become so rare, so unwelcome, so feared in our world, where Conventional Wisdom on all topics of consequence is locked down tight, top to bottom. Adrift in this gallery of manufactured illusion, no effort is spared to keep one idea from surfacing: that we have all but lost the ability to trust our own instincts, to find the truth, and then to act on it.

CLARENCE DARROW

The appended reference list is just a cursory look at an immense body of literature that is at odds with current vaccination policies. If vaccinations are so safe and valuable, then why does the government have to pass laws to force people to get vaccines that aren’t required in other free countries of the world, countries who have better health than we do? Why are there laws describing how people should be quarantined and deprived of property for refusing shots? Why were those parents in Maryland in 2007 forced to vaccinate at gunpoint?

Clarence Darrow, the famous lawyer at the beginning of the 20th century, asked: if vaccinations really work, then those vaccinated will be immune to disease, right? So what does it matter if some people choose to go unvaccinated? What do the vaccinated have to worry about? Aren’t they protected?

Vaccination Is Not Immunization – now in 6 languages.

Since the new book came out, I have been hearing many loud voices proclaiming the safety and necessity of vaccines. So let’s make this very simple: I hereby challenge any and all parties who wish to defend the scientific value of vaccines to a public debate, to be held in the classic collegiate forensics format. I have an advisor from the USC debate department about the specifics.

So step forward, all you experts in vaccine theory. Here’s your chance to be heard. Do you have the courage to step up and defend your contentions in public? Some credentials required, but will consider all takers. What say you? Want to be taken seriously? Here’s your chance.

6. Which Schools Would BJ be Banned From Today?

.

Or they might show up at Billy D’s CalJam for some dip, but then secretly ban him from their campus. Or Liam. Or myself. Or any of the other speakers who talk about fundamental notions of subluxation, innate intelligence, neuroplasticity, dis-afferentation from spinal and paraspinal mechanoreceptors, and the illimitable power of chiropractic and reconnecting the body with its primal intelligence. The quality of life.

At the same time, beware of those who would canonize or apotheosize BJ into an all-perfect healing magician. That can be just as scary, because he made a lot of mistakes and wrote a lot of inconsistencies. We’re talking about his fundamental message of chiropractic, the Big Idea, the philosophical basis that was then manifested into a biomechanical, neurophysiological day-to- day healing reality.

These are the ideas we’re going to elaborate in the Seattle seminar on 9 March (see Section 1 above). It will be like a Carrick-for-dummies kind of CalJam science warmup type of seminar. And the irony of how today’s best neuroscience is corroborating these original notions of DD and BJ. If you have no idea what I’m talking about at all, then you really need to be there.

2. WHY THE SHOOTINGS? IT’S NOT GUNS.
GUNS PERSONALIZE – DRUGS DEPERSONALIZE

.
As media has been predictably instructing us how to respond, and exactly what we should feel regarding the inconceivable tragedy, de-sensitization is setting in. It’s inescapable. That coping mechanism is selected into human DNA, a gift of evolution.

De-sensitization is how we deal with bad news – take it in, process it, file it away. The worse the horror, the faster the processing. The unthinkable cannot be thought of for long. The big game’s coming on, and The Hobbit just came out, and it’s Christmas…

Adaptation.

If you gauge your life by media, like most people, this story’s kick is already fading away – taking its place on the endless list of tragedies we shove to that dark corner in the back of our minds so we can get on with our daily existence.

Another month or so and it will be over. But what have we missed?

Organized media was on it from the start, did you see that – what’s our angle here? The google and FB ads on the right hand column sold out fast – nothing sells like blood in the streets. WR Hearst 101. And what’s the spin to be?

Taking the cue from their loudest constituents, the interests that must be served first, the PR firms worked overtime to be proactive to shield the guilty.

The Potomac think tanks had this one hammered out by the next day. What is to be our target for retribution, whom will we blame, we the Protectors of the people? How can our agenda best be furthered by this event?

Keep it simple now – no abstractions. What did all the shooters have in common? Quick, now – don’t think about it. What was it? Right – guns! So that’s going to be the focus of our collective outrage and retaliation – gun laws. Perfect – people can understand something like that – the shooters all fired guns.

So then, let the debates begin – the party lines be drawn, the intellectuals, the NRA, the defenders of the Constitution, the automatic vs. conventional weapons smokescreen, who should be armed at school, who should be armed at home, and with what… Bring in Time and Newsweek and the New York Times, prep the TV newsreaders, and the unlettered lower element ‘commentators’ on the national programs, fire up the blogs… let’s hear from everybody.

Everybody, that is, except for one – one voice must be silent. To one voice we will give no air time, no column inches, – we don’t want to hear from this voice at all.

And who might that be?

It’s the voice saying these new events aren’t fundamentally about guns. Americans have had tons of guns, since the time of Columbus, the Pilgrims, the patriots, WWII, Vietnam, today’s brave hunters in their designer togs from Outdoor World – everyone’s always been armed to the teeth in this country. So that’s not new at all.

What is new, then? What is it that has changed? Well, the One Voice is looking at another common thread in this cohort of sick monsters, besides guns. So let’s look at the shooter list and do our homework and make a chart and do some cross checking and really try to find the other common denominator in the majority of the incidents.

The first remarkable thing we see by comparing the historical lists of shooters is that they’re all different. Every list is different – check it out. Looks as though this recent phenomenon of the lone madman running amok with automatic weapons in public is much more frequent than we are led to believe. It’s not like a dozen incidents in the last 20 years – but closer to 100.

For example how many people even know about the Oregon mall shooting 3 days before Newtown? Just a footnote now – only 2 murdered. So the first fact that’s being largely overlooked is how common this type of maniacal behavior really is.

We haven’t seen one recent piece in any medium where they’re claiming to have a comprehensive list of recent shooting incidents.

There have been so many in recent years that if there are just a few victims, it’s hardly even front page news any more. Some lists don’t count them unless there’s at least 3 or 4 dead, or some other variable. So the lists are much shorter than how many wacko shooters actually are out there killing people they don’t know.

THE OTHER COMMON DENOMINATOR

So step back, don’t try to prove anything, just look at the data, forget what your editor is expecting – what is the pattern here? Go wherever the data may lead, de-focus, find the hidden link… That old time investigative journalism spirit from days gone by…

Wait a minute – can it be? A history of prescription drug use? The psychoactive brand – what about that for a hypothesis? Let’s tale a look.

Verboten in mainstream to mention drugs, but the independent media are lining up very solidly behind this idea – the sources whose editors don’t have the boot of the drug cartels at their throats – the writers who are not told what to conclude before they even begin their research. Still an upstream swim though, since orthodox news has already defused that suggestion, primarily by blacking it out.

THE PSYCH DRUG HYPOTHESIS

This new social phenomenon – mass shootings – is now well established in American culture. Hearing the beginning of the newest murder story, we now have learned to have certain expectations, right off the bat.

So, if the number of guns hasn’t changed much, what other drastic new trend have we seen in this same time frame that might suddenly cause an entire demographic to start a wave of formulaic yet random killings, with suicide a frequent adjunct?

Only one event even comes close to checking all the boxes here: psychotropic drug use. All the SSRI inhibitors, all the methylphenidate derivatives, the whole pharmacopeia of children’s ‘behavior’ drugs have antisocial, violent and suicidal behaviors as clearly stated possible ‘side effects.’ This is not in dispute. Check your PDR.

DEFINITION

“A psychotropic drug is a chemical substance that crosses the blood-brain barrier and acts primarily on the central nervous system by affecting brain function.” [1]

Rather than reading today’s regurgitated FB or Wiki swill to learn about the extent and dangers of psych drugs, an actual resource would be Robert Whitaker’s comprehensive book: Anatomy of an Epidemic. [5] It is a masterful review of the literature.

So before we look at a few of the popular shooter lists, let’s just view some real statistics on psych drugs in recent years, to consider a possible connection with this novel murderous art form.

FACTS YOU WON’T SEE IN STANDARD MEDIA:

By 2009, 300 million prescriptions per year for psych drugs in the US. [4]

.
In 1987, before Prozac, one American in 184 had some mental illness disability.

In 2010, 4 million Americans are on permanent disability for psych disorders [5]

.
Today one American in 5 has a prescription for a psych drug. (Whitaker) [5]

In 2005, it was 1 in 10. [6]

.
1987: 1 in 250 children taking an antidepressant.

Today: 1 in 23 children taking an antidepressant. [5]

.
In 1987 ADHD was invented. BY 1991, already 1 million diagnosed.

By 2010, children diagnosed with “ADD/ADHD” on meds: 6 million [1, 2]

ADHD is now officially recognized as a lifelong disorder. [6]

.
After 20 years of prescribing antidepressants to children, today 1 in 15 Americans enters adulthood with a serious mental illness. [5] p221

.
By 2010, we spent over $25 billion a year on antipsychotics, antidepressants, and Ritalin clones.

Today over a million kids are bipolar. Psych drugs are the biggest cause. [5]

.
84% of children diagnosed bipolar have a history of psych drug use.

.
No evidence whatsoever that psych drugs fix ‘chemical imbalance’ — more evidence that the drugs cause them. That has always been a marketing term rather than a scientific one. Doctors who use this term are unfamiliar with their own history. – Whitaker p 76 [5]

A common side effect of all psych drugs: depersonalization. [5] Perhaps the single most common factor with the shooters. They don’t see the victims – or themselves -as people.]

For 82% of antidepressants, JAMA says placebos work just as well [8]

In children, antidepressants cause tendencies toward violence and suicide, as well as a host of other psych disorders.

Best studies: 11% – 62% of children prescribed antidepressants develop psychosis, like bipolar and ADHD. Whitaker [5] p 214. First the drugs, then the disorder.

In the military, the use of psychiatric medications had increased 76 percent from 2001 – 2009

At least one in six service members is on some form of psychiatric drug. [3]

Today psych drugs are a $40 billion per year business [5] p290

SHOOTER LISTS

With these statistics as background, let’s take a look at a few of the many, many lists turning up everywhere. They’re all different, with different criteria, different findings. All that’s certain is that the total number of psychotic shooting rampages has been vastly under-reported.

Protection of the drug industry is evidenced by the refusal by any government agency to investigate a link between drug use and the shootings. They are ignoring the very clear warnings both from the manufacturers and from every international regulatory body that these behavior drugs can cause violent and suicidal personality changes.

1. Mother Jones list: A Guide to Mass Shootings in America [9]

62 murders since 1982. But if it’s 3 or less murders per shooting, it doesn’t count.

.

2. CCHR List: School Shooters Under the Influence of Psychiatric Drugs [10]

Documents evidence of 109 wounded, 58 killed from recent shootings involving psychotropic drugs. 11,000 reports to FDA of violence resulting from these drugs between 2004 -2011, representing less than 10% of actual incidents. 300 homicides.

.

3. The Real Lesson of Columbine: Psychiatric Drugs Induce Violence [11]

.
This article has a list of 13 shootings between 1998 and 2008, all at schools, all shooters on behavior drugs.

This article specifically shows the role of 2 SSRI drugs – Zoloft and Luvor – in the Columbine shootings of 2000.

Ann Tracy, author of Prozac: Panacea or Pandora? recounts the effects of these 2 drugs according to the manufacturer: violence, aggression, suicide, homicide, etc. [12]

The Real Lesson of Columbine presents a long list of 13 shooters and the drugs they were taking, despite the standard practice of sealing the medical records in these cases.

Why would medical records be sealed? The victims and the shooters don’t need to be protected. Who is it that needs the protection?

Simple: the drug companies.

Even such a source as shallow as the fluff movie Bowling for Columbine points out how the cover-story explanation ultimately given for that shooting never made sense, and that there was no real investigation why it happened at all. And why the media blackout in the direction of behavior drugs?

This is the same whitewash and misdirection seen across the board in all the shootings. Talk about horror, talk about blood, talk about guns, talk about God’s will, just don’t mention drugs.

Ever wonder why so many of the shootings took place at schools? In list 3 above all were at schools. And all were on psych drugs.

How about this hypothesis:

The manufacturers admit that these drugs can steal the user’s humanity. Depersonalization. In the case of the child, it is his childhood that has been stolen.

So what about the possibility of vengeance as the motivator – return to the scene of the crime – the school. You stole my youth, I take out your people. Retribution.

In the case of ADD, parents often talk about the child ‘disappearing’ after a few weeks of drugs. Part of the dehumanizing effect is the loss of the ability to empathize – the user can do longer imagine another’s pain or humanity. Witnesses often describe the shooters as cold, detached, emotionless – shooting people carries no more emotional burden than shooting bottles in a field.

With this same loss of personal value towards themselves, suicide is not such a burden, not a big stretch at all.

Above are just a few of the lists, but the pattern is very clear. Of course they all had guns – that’s why they were shootings. But then what? What other factor, new on the scene in the last few years, can be found in almost every case?

Except of course, the ones where they SEALED THE MEDICAL RECORDS.

3. The Lorax and Caltrans

.
A cut above the standard mind-deadening Dora/Caillou/Spongebob children’s DVD fare, a Los Angeles company has made a few movies for those aspiring to content aimed at IQ above room temperature. The most successful of these is certainly the film version of Dr Seuss’ The Lorax, which came out last year. Phenomenally artful animation, with realistically quirky characters who speak with celebrity voice-overs, the Lorax is a delight for all ages.

It actually has a premise. Behind the superb animation is a story line that engages an environmental sensibility – the authentic kind, not the sellout Green-Lite we always see. The issue is trees, deforestation, and the corrupting corporate exploitation of land and air. But all told in a lighthearted way that is not too dark to upset the 5 year olds, allowing all and sundry to be entertained and enchanted by the music, the dialogue, and the spectacle.

Briefly, we have a plucky young character setting out to make his fortune in the world – The Once-ler. He happens upon a magical and pristine forest, populated by a host of innocent storybook animals, and a unique species of tree: the truffula. The Once-ler invents a product – the Thnee- that can only be made from truffula foliage. Trouble in paradise starts when the Once-ler gets talked into going corporate, cuts down all the trees, and leaves the primeval forest in devastation. The Lorax – voiced by Danny DeVito – is a furry little mythical character who is the soul and Protector of the forest, and of the earth in general.

That’s a terrible summary of the movie – which you know if you’ve seen it. It’s really quite brilliant. But the allegorical intent of the story is deftly interworked into the entire plot and screenplay – how we’re hacking down the lungs of the planet for greed and profit, while pretending that we’re Green. Green-Lite. Like what we’ve done in Costa Rica and South America for the past 2 decades, clearing away rainforest to run cattle for Big Macs, as in SuperSize Me.

And also planting soybeans in order to make hydrogenated oil, for chips and donuts.

Anyway if all that’s news, then I’ve already lost you, so just tune back in to Ice Road Truckers, pop another diet Dr Pepper, and forget it. For those of you still with, here comes the part about CalTrans.

Perhaps you’ve noticed the billion-dollar deforestation project raging along the 101 as well as 880, I-5, and other interstates throughout California, that’s blighted our land for the past 2 years. But they don’t call it that – they call it landscaping, and highway maintenance. And beautification. Edward L Bernays language.

I thought California was broke. Did I get that wrong? I thought they were defaulting on everything, stealing pensions, and doing all sorts of nefarious trade-offs, inventing fees for everything, etc. So where did all these extra billions come from?

Now this program would be horrific even if California had a trillion$ surplus. Everybody can see what’s going on – it’s their commute. I first noticed it near the intersection of the 101 and I-880, where 2 large circular exit ramps circumscribe at least 5 acres of land. For the past century, large stands of magnificent 90? high live oak trees had stabilized these little eco-systems, preventing erosion, entirely maintenance free and 100% natural. Then somebody brokers a deal in Sacramento, and suddenly cutting down these oxygen-producing natural woodlands becomes a bigger emergency than all other fiscal emergencies in this state.

Oxygen/C02 ratio – global warming – photosynthesis…anything?

And so, what have we seen for the past 2 years? — highway ‘construction’ – not on the torn-up roadway itself, but instead, on the landscaping at the exit ramps and alongside miles of freeways. Landscaping that not only is unnecessary, but has removed thousands of trees from the coastal and inland areas, replacing them with expensive shrubbery and unnatural ground cover – expensive tree bark – which require irrigation systems to be installed and maintained. Which further wastes California’s already scarce and most precious resource – water.

Now if you look at the re-planted areas that have been completed in the past few years on the freeways you can see the residual devastation that results from unkempt landscaping and water systems that don’t work. Erosion, dead plants – they created new work to maintain an unnatural environment in an area that had achieved a perfect natural balance during the past century. Very high maintenance – the work doesn’t get done.

The Lorax is not pleased. Because this isn’t just happening on a few exit ramps, but on thousands of acres of highway land all over the state. After these areas fall into disrepair and the next geniuses in Sacramento decide they can’t afford to maintain them, it will take another century for new hardwood trees to appear.

Just for an exercise, why don’t you make a list of things that California needs to spend money on that are more important than destroying natural woodlands.

Does the phrase quid pro quo mean anything to you?

How about pork barrel?

4. Chelated Minerals

.
Even the best diets require minerals supplementation today. As we learned in the Minerals chapter, there are 4 main reasons why our bodies are mineral deficient:

- depleted topsoil

- deficiencies in the produce and processed foods

- malabsorption

- several minerals compete for the same binding sites

This is undisputed. Even the corporate GM food giants aren’t disagreeing. So you’ll remember that the prime objective of the 60 Day Program is optimum cell metabolism, as well as full function of all organs. Minerals are required for normal cell operation – again, not controversial. Review chapter for details.

Since supplementation is necessary then, what are our options? There are 4 forms:

- colloidal

- elemental

- ionic

- chelated

Once again, no argument about which form is best absorbed at the cellular level. Chelated.

Next you have to learn that there are not 88 minerals necessary for humans, but only 21. See chapter for which mineral does what. And re-learn what detriments result from taking in thoseminerals we don’t use, such as excretion, competition, using unnecessary metabolic energy, etc.

What does it feel like to be mineral deficient? Fatigue is the biggie. Muscle soreness and weakness, loss of concentration, indigestion, cardiomyopathy, diabetes, – you name it. What organ or system does not require optimum cell function? That’s what minerals provide.

Even for those with a ‘healthy’ diet – juicing, organic fruits and vegetables… The organic label doesn’t guarantee any food value, remember? Organic just means it wasn’t sprayed. Actual nutrient value requires 3 things:

      * vitamins
      * minerals
    * enzymes

Total Complete Chelated Minerals – 3 capsules a day – will provide all the minerals we need for optimum cell physiology, provided of course there is a reasonably good diet, without a bunch of low-end, mineral depleting supplements.

The missing piece of the health picture, when people have ‘tried everything’ is usually mineral deficiency. Because it’s so simple, hidden in plain sight, that we often forget it.

The subtext of thedoctorwithin seems to be – don’t go for the radical, invasive, dangerous remedy until all the holistic life-affirming ones have been employed first. They’re sometimes a little slower, requiring a bit of a commitment, but at least they have no side effects, no life-threatening downside, like some other remedies we can think of.

How can supporting the natural healing properties of the body ever fail, in the long run? Get adjusted, detox, exercise, stop eating trash – that’s the only program that works for health excellence. Have you done that for 60 Days, religiously? Then what are we really talking about? We all choose our own health, and our own diseases, one way or another.

For the first time ever, thedoctorwithin has been backordered on minerals, for the last few weeks. Had a choice between making the next batch of minerals the best it could be, or else leaving out one of the essentials, because it is scarce. We opted to wait. So we apologize for everyone who has an outstanding order of Total Complete Chelated Minerals. Haven’t forgotten you, and your minerals will be sent, just as soon as they come in. Which will be any day now. To show our appreciation, we will send a free bottle of minerals to anyone with an outstanding order who calls the order line and requests one – 915 307 1055.

This lag time will never happen again.

5. The Definitive Text on Vaccines for 2013: Vaccination Is Not Immunization,
third edition

.
For those of you who bought the second edition – the dark blue cover – thank you. Your baby thanks you. Please read it now. It is a collector’s item, and will never be reprinted. You can probably sell it on amazon for 3x what you paid. Not that I’m recommending that. But you know Amazon.

Now we’re heading into a new frontier for 2013 in the world of vaccines. Since they are losing the debate on vaccine safety and science, monolithic medicine has resorted to legislative weaponry. An all- out attack on the legal position of vaccine exemptions is now in full operation. Introduced into 4 states so far, successful in 2, the campaign to end the personal beliefs exemption is certain to be marketed in every state in the next 2 years.

- Last month we saw that the vaccine manufacturers have ignored a petition of 40,000 pediatricians to keep thimerosal out of vaccines.

- Then a news story came out that a huge insurance company just fired 150 employees for not getting a flu shot.

- The first Congressional Hearings on autism since 2003 took place in November in Washington.

The exposés about the contamination, toxicity, and lack of science is keeping pace with draconian legislation to force vaccines onto the marginally informed. Battle lines are being drawn. 2013 will not be pretty. Parents therefore need every bit of legitimate science possible in order to make the most important decision they will make in the life of their infant- whether or not to vaccinate.

Most of that homework has already been done for them in the new 2013 version of Vaccination Is Not Immunization. It is a complete rewrite from last year’s blue book, and will include the most up to date attacks on the unvaccinated, as well as recent efforts to end exemptions nationwide. New vaccines in the pipeline are described. Outbreaks caused by routine courses of polio, DPT, HPV, flu shots, and other vaccines – all that is kept out of media – that’s what this book will lay out for you.

The infants cannot protect themselves.

Sometimes parents write and say Thanks for the book – because of it we didn’t vaccinate out child. While their child was certainly not put in harm’s way by such a decision, it seems like a minimum amount of information in order to make the most important decision a parent will make in the life of the child: whether or not to vaccinate. But it’s a solid introduction to the subject – no more google searches or wikipedia propaganda pages. The 300 references provide directed follow-up for the more diligent, rather than the random roll of the dice we are confronted with online.

1. Australia and New Zealand Nov 2012

.
First time Down Under. Coming from Kuala Lumpur via Thailand, already was in tourist mode. Almost 8 hours flight southeast from KL, Sydney was a whole new world, especially for the first time. Really had no preconceptions about Australia – all I knew about it was what was in Nemo. Landing at night, we had to circle for a half hour, supposedly because of ‘rain.’ That’s usually what they say when the airlines or the tower has screwed up, but in this case they actually had a quickie hailstorm, which apparently isn’t that rare here.

In the taxi on the way downtown though, the streets were already dry. The taxi driver was a Russian, so I figured it was harmless to ask him why Australia’s Prime Minister was so obsequious to Obama’s every whim. On TV she was talking about Australia’s role in Afghanistan…?? The only Australians who have ever even seen an Afghani are the soldiers who were talked into flying halfway around the world there to kill Afghanis. Australia’s role in Afghanistan ..??? I don’t get it.

Anyway the Russian was all over it, calling her all manner of obscenities even I never heard before, how most Australians didn’t even elect her, and how she got in mostly by buying votes. Sound familiar? Not a popular leader, I get the drift. Same story, everyone I talked to.

So we cruise into the Darling Harbour area which is the main tourist part of Sydney. I was set up in a little hotel only a few blocks away, because that’s where my seminars were to be. Was kind of late but I walked down toward the beginning of the walking streets, tourist area, and there were still many restaurants open. Lots of Chinese, one after another. Not bad, not unlike San Francisco Chinatown.

Next morning I had the day off to explore. My friend who was putting on the seminar wouldn’t arrive till evening. So I hopped on the monorail a couple blocks away and started the downtown cruise. After a very few blocks I got off because I saw some music stores in the downtown area. They weren’t good, though and some of the downtown is a little shabby, though most of it is not.

Next I decided I needed to see the famous Opera House, like in Nemo, so I walked in the direction of Cockle Bay, the main part of Darling Harbour. This waterfront tourist area is really well appointed, much nicer than Fisherman’s Wharf in San Fran. Fantastic new restaurants and shops, all in a semicircle, with the skyscrapers towering just behind. And surrounding it is a very large touristy area where you can spend a few days walking around. But I found out that the Opera House was in the next bay over, so I hopped onto a water taxi to take me around the point, coming at the Opera House from the water, just like Marlon and Dorie in the movie.

The giant cruise ships are moored just opposite, and they are bound for any port on the globe. You can do a London cruise through the Suez, if you have 2 weeks to kill.

Now there’s a couple of things you pick up right away about Australia. (Which also might be said about New Zealand as well.) There just aren’t many people around. I mean check it out – there’s only about 30 million people on the entire continent, with a million or so in Sydney. We have almost that many people just in California, including the illegals. So people aren’t crowded and stressed the way Americans are, just in their daily lives. Add to this that they’re naturally extremely polite to each other, and right away you begin to sense this higher quality of life thing going on. People greet each other on elevators, in grocery store aisles, even on the street. Remember that scene in the original Crocodile Dundee when Mick was in NYC and introduced himself to a mounted policeman? Well, that’s not so far fetched. They really act like that, many of them. No reason not to.

So anyway now I’m at the Opera House bay and start walking through that part of downtown, which is a bit classier. I get on one of those hop on / hop off buses like they have in London and sit just opposite the driver. He’s almost 70 and looks exactly like Santa Claus. Since we had to wait about 15 minutes to depart and there was no one else on board, I struck up a conversation and asked if their Prime Minister had to kowtow to Obama so that America would build a military base on their north shore in Darwin, which they’re doing. But he corrected me, saying that was only part of it. He told me when this new PM came in only 2 years ago Australia had a couple of billion dollar surplus. And now in just a short time they were a debtor nation because Obama was leading them down the NATO rabbit hole, etc. And she was starting to sell the exact same load of rubbish that has made our country the embarrassment it is today.

Forgot to mention the thing about what the rest of the world really thinks about the US. Which is, mostly they don’t think about it much, unless they have to, because we don’t really affect them directly. But what they do think about us is not flattering – that whole thing about being the leaders of the Free World and the Protector of freedom and democracy in the world, etc – that myth is over. Long gone. All that We Are the Champions of the world stuff died with Freddie Mercury. The only place it persists in the whole world is in American media. The rest of the world sees America for what it really is – a nation of Takers, forcing their will on weaker people, if they have something we want. Iron fisted bullies with enormous arsenals of weapons and drugs. No reason for them to pretend they don’t notice stuff like that. I got really weary of apologizing before I began all my lectures.

So Santa Claus was a very articulate bridge between the two cultures, as we cruised down the avenues in an empty bus. After a few stops a bunch of Chinese got on and I figured Santa’s running narrative was about to get a lot more conventional than him explaining the intricacies of why he couldn’t afford to retire at 70, so I hopped off.

Was looking for a museum, hopefully with skeletons of pre-hominids, showing the evolution of human osteology, like the exhibit they have in Paris. Being directed to the Australian Museum of natural history, I set off across Hyde Park, a small replica of the real one, when suddenly in the middle of the park a monsoon came out of nowhere, complete with hailstones the size of golf balls. I took shelter under a giant eucalyptus tree, but still got wringing wet in the process. After 30 minutes the deluge let up and the sun came out. By the time I got to the museum the streets had begun to dry out, though I hadn’t quite yet. So I made my way around the modest museum they have there, although I was amazed that they have a very respectable collection of dinosaurs. And we have to remember that Australia used to fit right between India and Burma and must have separated sometime after 130 million years ago, when the first dinosaurs emerged. Because they definitely didn’t swim to Australia from Asia.

Leaving the museum, the doctor called me and said he was on the way from Newcastle and would be at the hotel in a few hours. So I walked back across downtown and soon found myself back at the hotel.
Downtown isn’t all that huge. Thirty minutes walk from the center will take you about everywhere.

The doctor knew Sydney very well, so later on we walked down to Darling Harbor proper. We ate at a great Thai place right on the water, called Thai Foon. Now I had just come from Thailand, so I’m just saying, it was the real deal. This part of the harbor was like a sparkling little circle of glittering lights reflecting off the water from all the shops and restaurants– a collective ambience, like one big party instead of a bunch of little ones. Darling Harbour is really quite charming night or day , and it’s worth seeing.

The next day we were all set up for the vaccine seminar at the hotel . We had a respectable showing of doctors and patients, and these poor folks had never seen anything like me before. No one has the research I present about vaccines, and they were very attentive. Australian children get 51 vaccines compared to our 68. Although there is no pressure on them if they simply decide to opt out. But by the end of the seminar they were fairly appalled about the global vaccine program, the increasing number of vaccines, and how little most people know about the subject. That’s the thing – you don’t need to be a PhD in biochemistry to appreciate the toxicity and lack of science behind vaccines. You just need to know a little, just go down one level, follow the textbook, and there it is. Once you know, there’s no turning back.

Next day we did the chiropractic philosophy and neurology seminar. It also went very well. The exact same global agenda to dilute and eviscerate the profession is at work in Australia as well, though it is not as powerful. There are 4 chiropractic programs in AU, which are part of their respective university curricula. I have finally learned that this seems to be the formula for disaster. Anywhere in the world where you find chiropractic education as just another major in a regular university curriculum, you will usually find the dilution and estrangement from the profession’s fundamental principles. Not to mention they can enter the program right out of high school. Although in most places so can medical students. It’s Chiro-Lite: no philosophy, no X-ray, little or no technique. Regrettably. this same pattern can be found all over the world. Every time, it seems like the same politics orchestrating, with funding coming through medical agencies and regulators. Has the feel of blood money, trading the essence of the profession for 30 pieces of silver. And do they hire masters of technique to train the students? No, no. If someone can actually adjust, usually he’s already in practice, doing well. Those who can, do…

And as far as philosophy goes, it’s worse. It would be bad enough if there just weren’t any philosophy at all and they never mentioned it. But this is worse—often they actively denigrate and ridicule the original ideas and research of chiropractic philosophy, which is the only thing that made it endure at all for the past century. The result is that kids tend to graduate without the slightest sense of professional identity. No idea who they are, or what unique service a DC is supposed to provide. Most of them fail, if they try it at all. Their only chance is if they somehow meet someone who knows the story, or if they come into direct contact with one of the Pockets of Awareness that exist throughout the world, that keep the flame burning – the sacred trust, such as it is. Perhaps it’s a school, or a practice management, or a group of clinics, or an ongoing convention like DCS or Focus or NB, or else just a local group of DCs who band together and vitalize the philosophic and scientific uniqueness of chiropractic. The rule in our profession – the internal commandment prevails – eat your young. Be your own worst enemy. Exactly where did our profession acquire this curse? I’d like to know. Pockets of Awareness are the only salvation, seems to me.

The next day I was lucky enough to be spirited out of Sydney by my colleagues and taken to a surf town about 2 hours north, called Newcastle. This is the real Australia, it seems. Sydney’s OK, but it’s a big city. At least a little big city. But Newcastle is the life. Endless scenic beaches with surfable breaks everywhere. A medium size city, not crowded, no freeways, mostly unincorporated – with a group of DCs who somehow got the story and are taking over the town. One group has 5 clinics now, and some are to capacity. They have plans for another 5 in the next few years, and they are right on schedule. All they need are a few more capable docs to make it happen. They’re in momentum, and it’s inevitable.

Not unlike the 80s in the US.

Another really obvious thing about Australia is that the government doesn’t seem so much an invasive part of people’s everyday lives the way it is in the US. The American dream is pretty much played out, I think we can agree. The California dream is certainly gone, or just barely alive. It’s all about Obama, socialize everything, and we’re out of money so we need more… Going to places like AU and NZ, you feel a nostalgic twinge turn in your heart, a glimpse of what America was back in the 60s and 70s and 80s, when there was unbounded potential, in any field. Before everything got so heavy, and the One World agenda took over, and the invasion, and people became willing to sell their precious liberties for the illusion of security. Always a bad bargain, as Franklin said.

Did several evening lectures for the locals both on chiropractic and on vaccines, and again people were all ears. Never heard anyone talk like this who couldn’t be argued with. The truth has a certain ring to it. Much easier to opt out of vaccines in Australia – if you don’t want them, you needn’t get them. That’s it. No harassment, no threats. The Bill Gates population reduction program has not yet hit their shores. But now they’re forewarned, so some of them will be vigilant.

Australians are certainly closer to the land than we are now, in general. Except maybe for California surfers, and a few others. They respect their land and wouldn’t dream of trashing it any way near what we’ve done. No doubt about it – a blind man can see it – they have a superior quality of life, all around. Takes a long time to describe, but even after a few days it’s quite apparent.

But a week goes by in a blink, and it’s off to New Zealand. Two and a half hours east. Fly into another city by the bay –Auckland. Auckland is about the same population as Sydney but it’s spread out more along a very big series of bays. The population of this whole country is only about 5 million, so it’s even less crowded. And again, a consequence of that must be that the people treat each other pretty well, in general. Very polite, even more so than Canadians. Which is saying something.

Right away you could tell that this New Zealand was a new world altogether, much different from Australia. For the first few days I stayed in Auckland. I attended a philosophy symposium the first day, and got to know the chiropractic college. Then the second day one of the AU docs and I toured downtown Auckland and went up in the space needle they have there. It was about 65 stories high, and people were bungee jumping off the top. You could get an idea of the layout of the harbor, even from that height. You couldn’t see all of it because it sprawls to the horizon. Nothing like Sydney. The downtown area is smaller and less commercialized, although there are plenty of skyscrapers. But everything is so green, green, green.

The next day I gave my philosophy lecture to the College in the evening. Even though it was finals week, I still had a good group of students who showed up. They were glad to hear about the past and future of chiropractic , but at least here they had heard it before because the New Zealand college is independent. Not part of a university.

The New Zealand College is one of the few schools left who respect and perpetuate the real legacy of DD and BJ Palmer and who understand the importance of passing that on to the graduates. They have 4 courses of philosophy in the curriculum. (Most schools today have none.) They take X-rays. They know all about the reality of subluxation. They’re focused on the mastery of technique, which starts with entry level proficiency. Since there are only about 5 million people in NZ however, most graduate DCs go over to AU or elsewhere to practice. And now they are in the process of being accepted by several states in the US. This is certainly one of the top 5 chiropractic schools in the world, no question.

Another thing you notice right off the bat about both these countries is the general lack of incorporation that prevails. Very few malls, very few strip malls, none really that resemble the cookie cutter carbon copy strips malls that infect every town in the US, same stores in all of them. Commercial centers and stores and shops have much less sophisticated architecture—much more utilitarian—really reminds you of America in the 60s, or 70s. Before America was subsumed by Walmart, 7 Eleven, Subway, MacD’s, Pizza Hut, Starbuck’s, Macy’s etc. making every city the same. And slowly, imperceptibly this corporate landscape has now become our life – not just a part of it. Going to these 2 countries, you get a good look at what we’ve lost.

The day after my evening lecture was to be my last full day in NZ. So I got a car and started driving south. NZ is mainly 2 large islands—the north island and the south island. I saw about a quarter of the north island. What you mainly see is beautiful rolling green fields and hills—rich farms, individual private ranches worked by real families. No mega agro business, as in California, Iowa, Texas, and everywhere they talk about in Food Inc and those other movies we review in the full day nutrition seminar. The north island is mainly sheep and cattle. Everywhere. As far as you want to drive. Green, green, green. The Aussies have a running joke about the Kiwis, that the Kiwis don’t seem to mind. They say the Kiwis sleep with sheep, etc., with endless variations on that theme. I think there are as many sheep as people in New Zealand. One joke goes — did you hear the price of sheep has gone up? Really? Yeah – it’s up to $100 an hour.

You even see this kind of joking suggested in mainstream commercials on NZ TV—it’s very funny.
I got as far as a town called Rotorua, which is famous for heaps of hot springs and mineral baths. There is a huge lake there as well, and many tourist activities. And surrounded by endless green hills, pastures, and ranches.

What I didn’t realize till I got back on the plane to America late is that this is the same area where part of the new Hobbit movie was just filmed — in the rolling green hills near Matamata. I also learned that I missed the most magnificent landscapes of all which are in the south island—the majestic mountains and lakes and coastline down there. Next trip.

This country is the opposite of the US: the future is about progress and improvement. It’s not crowded and it’s not a socialized abortion. And the government seems much less in evidence, noninvasive, or so it appears to a first timer. I only saw one police car the entire week I was in NZ. And I had a car and drove over 400 kilometers. Keeps coming back to reminding us how it seems we have given our country away to a cadre of Takers. Who dole out the rights to live life unmolested. Who tell us what freedoms we may and may not have. Wasn’t always that way.

Nothing brings this fact home so clearly as a few weeks in these two countries. They’re not perfect, but they are a lot closer to an ideal that we’re getting farther and farther from as the presidents roll by. That’s my lightning first impressions of AU and NZ, and I invite everyone to take a look down there the next time you can tear yourself away from the cable channels.

3. Kuala Lumpur Chiropractic

.
Here’s a FB post from early November:

“Chiropractic in Kuala Lumpur: Thriving!

Here in Malaysia, telling the chiropractic story at the International Medical University. Chiropractic is part of the curriculum at this multi disciplinary health professional university. Dr Michael Haneline has done a fabulous job in adding chiropractic to this university’s curriculum.

The program is only 3 years old and hasn’t graduated its first class yet. But these are some of the luckiest chiropractic students anywhere, who get to share in these state of the art facilities. They attend the same basic science classes as the medical students and use the same labs. This university is one of the finest in Asia and has spared no expense. The prospects for chiropractic in this country in the near future have never looked better.

I told BJ and DD’s story as clearly as I could during the lecture. The students were very attentive, but I discovered Malaysians have a sort of reserve about asking questions out loud in a live classroom. But they came up at the end and asked me personally, so I know they got the message. Philosophy makes sense to them, and they are very interested in chiropractic’s traditions.”

This school is actually looking for 8 DCs to work there. They really need people who can actually adjust, even if they may not say that. Only downside I could see is that X-ray is not a part of their diagnostic picture. Malaysians seem to be getting a version of chiropractic. Which is probably what we can say about the patients of graduates from most schools in the world, right? Art, Science, and Philosophy, remember? Does the name Wilhelm Roentgen ring a bell? We need all the tools available for detection, assessment, and clearing of subluxation.

4. SHOCKING CONSULTATIONS

.
When patients see the formidable amount of information in the Chapters at thedoctorwithin.com, they often want an assessment of their particular health scenario. Usually a Last Resort thing. Especially if they have been drugged, slashed, and burned with no salubrious outcome. They rarely come to me first. Generally, the world has to have its way with them for awhile before they realize they are dying, and that they have no other recourse besides natural medicine – supporting the innate recuperative powers of the human body.

Look at the Consultations button in the left hand nav bar of the website.

Recently I had two such consults. The first was from a man of some means who has had a significant cervicobrachial condition develop over several years. The pain and numbness had become so severe this past year that he told me he spent over $70k in pillows, trying to get comfortable at night! Never heard of chiropractic. Not surprising, since we’re treating only 1% of the population, if that. The geniuses and the shake and bake boys were totally no help. He experienced major improvement in just one adjustment. Obvious to any experienced DC to expect total resolution after a course of corrective care. Most of us could have cured him – anyone with entry level adjusting skills – but so few of us will talk about it. So therefore chiropractic remains the best kept secret in health care today!

The other consult involved a woman who just had an encapsulated uterine sarcoma removed, along with a prophylactic hysterectomy, of course. And even though they are sure they “got it all” and there is no further evidence of cancer, they want to do courses of chemotherapy and radiation, “just to be on the safe side.” Theoretical treatment rationales – not evidence-based, but imagination-based. But with genuine, deadly side effects.

Now for this situation, we have to look at medicine’s own statistics and studies. A summary of which may be found in the chapter To The Cancer Patient. And we learn that there is no proven upside for a recommendation for either chemotherapy or radiation to a patient in her situation – no prolonged life expectancy one way or another. We learn that in these situations today, the treatment protocols are often not being determined by the doctors so much as by the MBA’s upstairs.

But what about the colossal production of new free radicals, as well as all-out blitz attack on her already weakened immune system, occasioned by both of these two radical recommendations at this point. These biological events are beyond controversy.

The patient is extremely debilitated and run down from the surgical trauma, as well as from the post-op drugs. So she needs rest, hydration, and recovery – to harbor the body’s resources for total recuperation. Which chiropractic adjustments can certainly help facilitate. Not claiming that chiropractic would have resorbed the sarcoma, or anything like that. But healthy people don’t get sick. Obviously the homeostasis of the entire organism had been unbalanced for years before this cancerous manifestation. Cancer is not a bug that just flies in the window one day and grows a tumor. Years of imbalance, years of subluxation can be a significant contributor to disease conditions – the somatovisceral pathways. Not a theory, not a cult – basic orthopedic, neurological textbook science. Underscores the science of chiropractic.

What adverse conditions can a combination of chiropractic care and lifestyle adjustment not benefit? Name one.

5. New Book: Vaccination Is Not Immunization – Third Edition – 2013

.
For those of you who bought the second edition – the dark blue cover – thank you.

- Today a news story came out that a huge insurance company just fired 150 employees for not getting a flu shot.

- The first Congressional Hearings on autism since 2003 are starting up now in Washington.

The exposés about the contamination, toxicity, and lack of science is keeping pace with draconian legislation to force vaccines onto the marginally informed. Battle lines are being drawn. 2013 will not be pretty. Parents therefore need every bit of legitimate science possible in order to make the most important decision they will make in the life of their infant – whether or not to vaccinate.

2. FDA Has No Control over Merck

.
Thanks to Mary Abramson for sending this out:

PLEASE SHARE WITH EVERY PARENT YOU KNOW!!

Jenny is bravely exposing how vaccinations are all about profit and many children are harmed. I was a school nurse and I say now to all parents… “do not vaccinate your children!!”

Drug companies are denying because they are trying to get out of billions of dollars in lawsuits. Do not believe their lies. Even 40,000 Pediatricians signed a petition to MMR vaccine company Merck to end the mercury-like substance thimerosal….the drug company refused!! Profits before Kids!!

– Mary Abramson, R.N.

.
P.S. I would recommend every parent read this most informative book before allowing anyone to vaccinate their child. (I do not get anything from referring you to it except the peace of mind that more parents are armed with knowledge on this subject.)

Vaccination Is Not Immunization 2nd Ed. (2012) by Dr. Tim O’Shea

The most reliable book for parents who suspect there may be some problems with vaccines.

“It is impossible to estimate the true value of Dr O’Shea’s work. His review of the history of the vaccination industry is vastly more thorough than that taught in medical schools and decisively more balanced.”

– David Ayoub, MD, Clinical Radiologist

.
The vaccine issue is exploding today. The awareness of the ordinary parent is outpacing the propaganda. People know there is something wrong with vaccines, something making children sick. For the actual science and statistics, don’t rely on instinct. Look at the sources yourself. Then make the decision.

3. No Seeds, No Nuts, No Oils

.
Am constantly getting calls from people starting the 60 Day Program who have questions about seeds, nuts, and oils. They have read the chapters on the site already – The New West Diet, The Last Resort, etc, but I guess these three issues weren’t clear. So let’s get them straight once and for all so we have a permanent record.

Seeds. In most cultures, seeds have played a role in the traditional diet, for thousands of years. Many seeds can have value both as condiments and as nutrition sources. But they should be excluded from the 60 Day Program. Very simple reason: enzyme inhibitors. That’s what keeps seeds from sprouting: enzyme inhibitors. In their absence, the seeds will begin to germinate.

So going back to our two primary objectives in the 60 Day Program – clearing the tract and the blood – taking in enzyme inhibitors would have a detrimental effect on the mechanics of detox. In both cases. We are already going to be taking 9 Digestazyme per day, in order to do what? Clear the tract and the blood. Read the Enzymes chapter if you’ve forgotten the specifics of enzyme metabolism in the body.

Enzyme therapy is the foundation of the entire 60 Day Program. What good is it to free up long-stored toxins if the capillaries and the tract are blocked? So that must be our criterion for anything we ingest during this period – is it going to clog me or clear me?

It’s that simple. Save your sesame and flax and hemp for later, after you are detoxed.

Nuts. Same idea here. There are varieties of nuts that have nutritional value, although it’s a supplemental, peripheral role. Nuts are not dietary staples in any culture. But here again there are no essential nutrients that we can get only from nuts that make them necessary for a 60 Day Program. Remember, the goal is for 60 Day we will give the body everything it needs for optimum cellular nutrition and detox, without adding anything to the toxic load, or anything that would further impact the arterial or alimentary systems. Simple hydraulics.

I made the mistake at the beginning of saying that nuts were OK in moderation during the 60 Day Program, only to learn that many were eating a moderate sized jar every day to keep up good fats, etc.

These people invariably would have suboptimal results. My view is that if you’re going to spend all this time and money doing a total lifestyle change, you might as well get the full value and do it by the book. 60 Days isn’t really that long, but it is the minimum period to show how much progress can be made by a complete alteration of lifestyle. Eat nothing without a full complement of enzymes for its complete breakdown and metabolism.

Now obviously we’re only talking about raw nuts here. Roasted nuts are like eating plastic. They’re usually cooked in hydrogenated oils, and since the word roasted is not regulated, not only are we eating clogging foods that can’t be metabolized, but they are also loaded with trans fatty acids from the GMO oils they were cooked in.

Oils. Here the big question is cooking oils and salad dressing. And they always want to use extra virgin olive oil because of course it’s so healthy…. Ever wonder why so many people who use it all the time are so fat and so sick? Again it’s a question of moderation. If you are normal weight and never get sick and have all the energy you had when you were in your 20s, fine. Use it in moderation.

But most people doing the 60 Day Program aren’t normal weight, always healthy, and fully energetic. So we need to make some adjustments. Oil is the start. Most oils consumed in the western diet is in the form of hydrogenated oils. Most of that is soy and canola. So we learned the story of hydrogenation in the Soy chapter, right? If not, review it.

In the 60 Day Program, no oils – either in salad dressing or for cooking. The only exception might be a little flax oil on salad, or high end EFA supplements. But generally that requirement can be taken care of with grilled fish, at least 4x a week.

After the 60 Day Program, if you have achieved all your health goals, occasional salad dressing and cooking oils are OK. For cooking coconut oil is always better than olive oil because of its stability—less likely to form trans fatty acids.

I’m sure you can find things on the internet that disagree with these ideas, but then again you can also find recommendations for virtually anything. I’m not pretending to know everything, but at least you can be assured that this program works. See Feedback section.

4. How the World Really Sees Us

.
One of the advantages of foreign travel is to see what the rest of the world really thinks of the US. Stepping outside the monodimensional daily whitewash of US newsreaders mimicking each other word for word, and the retarded ‘commentators’ on FoxNews, CNN, even Bill Maher, et al., it is intriguing to see that there are much more intelligent, investigative, and articulate opinions of the US being broadcast elsewhere.

Examples: BBC News, Prime TV, and the high end Aljazeera. Their typical content is not filtered through the requisite criteria that reduce most US media stories to the same superficial, censored, homogenized Wikipedia-type level of justification and support for anything American.

We’re so conditioned to it we don’t even notice it. That’s the idea.

On Thai TV there is a station called Aljazeera. It is an award-winning news source for the Arab and Middle East world, mostly in Arabic. Definitely not on Comcast cable. And of course I was listening to the English portion. What I saw was astonishing.

First of all, the interviewer himself was this extremely eloquent, cultivated and well-informed host who would never be allowed to have a news show in the US.

He was interviewing an even more brilliant professor and expert in American civil liberties. The topic was the decline of civil liberties in the US, under both Bush and Obama, with specifics on the laws that have fashioned our current policies.

They were talking in very measured and well-ordered sentences about how Bush first re-wrote the 1978 Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, which protected Americans from undisclosed wiretapping. A foot note in US media. Bush got it changed so that they no longer need a warrant to tap the phones, record emails, etc. of anyone they choose. No probable cause. And no Freedom of Information recourse for the citizen. Bye bye Fourth Amendment – search and seize away!

And the Supreme Court is saying that citizens do not have the right to challenge these illegal wiretaps, and worse, that the government does not have to release the secret information they have. And Obama reinforced it.

It’s right out of the Matrix, and it’s not in the future. This is right now.

The new term is Data Mining. Remember it.

The professor, whose name I forgot – from Illinois – was saying that without privacy, freedom of speech, and checks and balances in place, there is no democracy. Very simple.

Then the interviewer pointed out that not only did Obama support the Bush changes, but exacerbated the situation when he signed the 2011 National Defense Authorization Act – you know, the one that sanctions indefinite detention – and even torture – of any American citizen, with no probable cause, no habeas corpus, no trial. Currently the law of the land, for those few paying attention.

So this isn’t a Democrat / Republican thing at all. Both parties are equally complicit in supporting these flagrant and consistent negations of the Constitution.

Oath? What oath?

Then they had another exceedingly well-informed expert from Salt Lake City talking about that 1 million square foot federal facility out there that is almost finished. Warren Buffet bought the power rights. Maybe you heard about it. When it’s finished they will archive every single phone call and email sent in the US, and make it available to any Agency that requests it.

V for Vendetta? This is no movie my friends. And it’s now. The Arab commentator was lamenting the fact that there are no courageous voices in US Congress today who will speak out against this whole new agenda. They’re afraid to be tagged un-American.

I have never heard anything this literate and insightful from any American news show, ever. Aljazeera – the Arab station – is asking what has happened to traditional American values with a forthrightness that no American media could ever air. The Arab station!

Next day I saw another broadcast equally incisive on an Iraqi news station called Press TV. Here’s another one you’re not gonna find on your cable. A sharp young Iraqi woman, speaking perfect American English with no accent, was interviewing international lawyer Francis Boyle. The subject was the 2012 conviction in the International Criminal Court of Bush and Blair for war crimes, mass murder, and torture against Iraqi citizens. This trial took place in Malaysia.

The International Criminal Court evolved out of the Nuremberg trials, which were originally Roosevelt’s idea. Anyway, this TV show included graphic footage of the Iraqi victims, including children, that you would never see on American TV, even on the slasher channels. And I was thinking yeah, let’s see them enforce those convictions.

But Boyle explained how it’s not over. They are pursuing war crimes charges in other international venues now against Bush, Cheney, Ashcroft, and Rice for their unconscionable actions in Iraq and Afghanistan.

These are not casual symbolic trials, but rather unravel painstaking testimony and evidence, overwhelming and incontrovertible, in an international legal venue. No teeth, you say? Well, the ongoing prosecution was taken seriously enough by George Bush so that he will not go into Switzerland for fear of arrest.

Any country has the right to arrest and prosecute any of these defendants, should they venture outside the US. Especially after the convictions. These courts are serious. And it’s just beginning.

Ever hear about any of this? How would you? Well, take a flight out of the US, because everybody else is hearing it. So many things America has done that we don’t talk about either in media or in conversation, because they’re not PC, or they’re ‘inflammatory,’ or ‘negative’ – well guess what? The rest of the world is talking about them. And taking action.

Now I’m not political by any stretch. But I’m not an idiot either. I have never seen anything as overwhelmingly accurate and uncompromising in American news media. It is simply not permitted. The intellectual demands these shows make on a listener to actually follow a train of thought from A to B surpasses exponentially any typical cable news broadcast at home.

So obvious – contrasting this type of detailed, meticulously frank reporting with the rote simian memorized phrases which is all we ever will get from both our present candidates, coupled with the ironclad Bernays doctrine of US media never to go below the surface into any issue – wow.

We walk through life with blinders, thinking the US can do no wrong, and that the world loves us.

I saw a Thai bumper sticker that nailed it: “Life is hard, but it’s even harder if you’re stupid.”

I think that democracy no longer exists if it comes only by courtesy of American corporate media. It’s so blatant. They have devolved to systems of disinformation and propaganda, ruled by the very sophisticated science of lying. Investigative journalism is long dead.

Ever notice how candidates never say one thing above the fifth grade level, or even suggest that there are levels of complexity to every issue they’re sloganeering about?

I think that the vestiges of democracy today exist only in these new sources of digital media, intelligent and responsible ones like those above. Many shrill, irresponsible, and uneducated posers vie for the position. But now the bar has been set to measure the calibre of legitimate and defensible reporting.

This is a primary value of travel – perspective. Stepping outside the day-to-day drivel we keep feeding ourselves – pretending that all these things America does aren’t really happening, and that all there is going on in the world is Hulk Hogan re-runs, the Super Bowl, and Skyfall.

5. Excerpts from the most reliable text available to parents who want to make an informed choice:
Vaccination Is Not Immunization, 2012

.
“THE SURVIVAL OF THE CORRECTLY INFORMED

Are people becoming more or less aware of vaccine problems?

With the billions spent annually to advertise and promote vaccines, it would seem that all parents would be absolutely sold by now. They’re not. As more and more parents are distrusting the mass conditioning from most sources, and actually informing themselves, the percentage of unvaccinated children in the US is increasing very slightly every year, [299] despite:

incessant media endorsement

school requirements

the course of least resistance

criminalizing the unvaccinated

The increase is astounding when one considers that to resist vaccination requires self-education – enormous personal effort, following up the spark of a new perception that hey, there might really be something to all this noise about vaccines, and I as a parent will do whatever is necessary to protect my child. Even if it means actually reading something. The struggle to step off the common treadmill thus becomes a war of attrition. A brick by brick proposition.

A true awareness of vaccines can never be mainstream – not with the never-ending attacks on self reliance, self education, and allowing the child’s natural immune system to develop unmodified.

The point of view expressed in this book can never be endorsed in popular media. It can never be the prevailing conventional outlook on vaccines, no matter how many children are damaged. Vaccines are here to stay. The majority of the children in the US will always be vaccinated. And the amount of vaccine damage will continue to increase.

FATTER, SICKER, DUMBER

Any upside to this dismal landscape? Well, the human species is subject to the same laws of natural selection as all other life on earth. Those with the weakest immune systems drop out. The immuno-suppressive effect of the immense viral load being forced onto the young through vaccines over long periods of time will certainly cause their line to have the least chance of replication of a viable progeny. It will dilute their DNA forever.

In the US during the past 50 years, where the vaccine load has been increased by more than 2500%, look at what is already clearly observable in the health and intelligence of our children: fatter, sicker, dumber. Play that pattern forward another 50 years, 100, 200. Nature will always take its course.

Anyone who studies the social and epistemological dynamics of the vaccine issue for enough time will eventually be confronted with the ultimate fruitlessness of direct confrontation on this issue. The uneducated, and the militantly uneducated will always, always vaccinate their children. And thereby over time may be selected out of the species. It’s neither good nor bad: it’s simple genetics.

Darwinism and vaccines.”

New Beginnings Rocks!

.
The spirit of DD and BJ was alive and kicking this weekend on the Jersey shore.

New Beginnings is showing the indomitable power of traditional chiropractic principles, and is pointing the direction for the future of the profession. Everybody doesn’t agree on everything, of course, but it’s close enough when it comes to what really defines the essence of chiropractic. Wide variety of topics, a room overflowing with commitment and passion to deliver the chiropractic story and to adjust the world.

New Beginnings is here to stay – building bridges, not walls.

And yes, there is proof that subluxation exists. No matter what your non-practicing teacher may have told you. See:

2. What Religious Exemption?

.
Don’t be thinking that AB2109 had any kind of redeeming upside, any silver lining. It was an unmitigated disaster.

You probably heard that AB2109 came to its predictable resolution on 1 Oct when Jerry Brown signed it into law. As a last minute distractor from this unprecedented violation of the rights of CA parents, Brown threw the dogs a bone – a mention of a religious exemption. ‘Don’t dismay, we’re taking away this, but we’re going to give you this…’

But no matter what you may read, be very clear about this: there is no religious exemption for vaccines in California. All we have is a vague and undefined promise of a religious exemption at some undetermined time in the future. From a politician – a politician who surreptitiously signed the bill that allowed schools to vaccinate kids without their parents’ knowledge or permission.

Remember?

No one has any idea of the nature of this alleged future religious exemption – its restrictions, its content, its enforcement – nothing. No assurance it will ever happen at all. So don’t be taken in by any false adulation or consolation-prize-type sentiments you might read on facebook or any other irresponsible source of hearsay.

There is unequivocally no upside to the passage of AB2109. It was and is a quantum step backward in American pediatrics, in American life. The world just got a little worse. See Articles AB2109.

Now even though this law is passed and will never be revoked, it doesn’t go into effect until some time in 2014, at the earliest. It will take the luminaries in Sacramento that long to write the new medical cosignature form. So until that time, the old exemption forms are still good, still law in California. So don’t let any school tell you they’re not. Some might try that trick.

As we said in earlier newsletters and on the site, AB2109 didn’t just randomly happen. It is the culmination of years of planning, beginning with the 2007 meeting in Washington DC by the engineers of the program to demonize and eliminate vaccine exemptions. CA was the test state – the guinea pig. Now the template is set. It’s a foregone conclusion the same law will be introduced into every other state in the next 2 years.

TheDoctorWithin has been saying that ever since AB2109 was introduced. Now watch it come true.

4. Excerpts from the most reliable text available to parents who want to make an informed choice:
Vaccination Is Not Immunization, 2012

.
“Certainly one of Medicine’s best kept secrets today is that unvaccinated children are far healthier than vaccinated, by any parameter one may choose.

“Such a notion may seem shocking to the uninitiated, to the individual who has never learned anything about vaccines other than what is endlessly repeated in mainstream media, in the promotional sections of the CDC and FDA websites, and from the clinics selling vaccines. This empirical, day to day reality is something that will never be evaluated in formal clinical studies, because of the immutable rule against having an unvaccinated population as a control group in any double blind controlled study.

“For that reason, the advantage of not vaccinating will never be ‘proven’ – in the strict peer-reviewed sense. Rather, it’s in the category of things that everybody knows – that is, everyone who cares to look beneath the surface just a little, and do some actual investigating. And certainly, it’s what everyone who has an unvaccinated child knows very well. Ask them.

“The topic of vaccines is likely the only field of study wherein the extent of formal inquiry is confined to the promotion and validation of vaccines, and prohibited from looking in any direction where the true data might possibly malign or even question the fundamental, assigned thesis: that vaccines are safe, effective, and necessary.

“Since the time of Galileo, we have seen how truth and science have been conditional, impermanent companions.

“…In today’s dangerous and toxic world, with so many assaults on human brain neurology, the newborn certainly needs every possible advantage.

“Millions of parents learned the score too late: their children are permanently vaccine-damaged. The $2 billion paid out in vaccine injury compensation does not even begin to square the account. And the vast majority of injuries are never reported.

“What is the common mantra of those horrified parents? ‘I wish I’d known.’ That’s what they all say, once they find out, once it’s too late.

“This book is your chance to know.”

2. King George and AB2109

.
The loss of the personal beliefs exemption in California is all but a fait accompli. I have nothing but admiration for anyone who continues to send Jerry Brown ‘more information.’ But if there’s one thing we all have learned in the past 6 months: most politicos are not interested in any information except that which proceeds from political expediency.

We faxed and sent and delivered boatloads of ‘information’ into their offices. A few of them looked at it, but most did not. Why would they? I think of all those trees – the Lorax is most disconsolate.

Jerry Brown has about as much chance of vetoing this bill as he has of getting another date with Linda Ronstadt. This is the guy who signed AB499 2 weeks after he took office. Remember? Do we really expect him to say, yes, children should be vaccinated in schools without their parent’s knowledge or permission, but this thing about making an MD co-sign the exemption form…hmm, I don’t know… Think I’ll veto it on principle even though it goes against $10s of millions in Attendance-Based Funding….

We made a showing from the moral high ground. But clearly that is hostile territory to the majority of those in public office in this state. Like the patriots in 1775 appealing to King George – they exhausted the recourse of words and diplomacy. What’s left for us? — either votes, or storming the capitol. Good luck finding a General Washington today.

Here is an email I sent Dawn last week:

“This is a different world now. A world where one valiant warrior can be crushed by a gaggle of mangy dogs.

“For me the most valuable lesson of this whole experience has been to realize that there are still people of your calibre out there. But the world has changed – has taken a turn here. We are now living in the age of the Survival of the Correctly Informed. Those few will always find a way to protect their children and will not vaccinate.

“But the masses have spoken. The masses do not want to travel the path to health and self determination. They are voluntarily choosing slavery over responsibility.

“You and your team did everything humanly possible to fight the tide. The people you fought aren’t fit to tie your shoelaces. But now we have to get on with our lives.”

So getting on with our lives now in a post-AB2109 world, what steps can the informed take to safeguard the formative immune systems of their children?

Intelligent new parents who still have the ability to read and think will look at the literature and decide not to vaccinate, no matter what. So they’ll actually get an appointment with one of the few MDs who will even entertain the possibility of vaccine choice. And the parent goes into the office and let’s say the doctor launches into his canned spiel about the importance of vaccines, etc.

So. A couple of ground rules here, for the parent:

1. Have the form in your hand, which you’ve already signed. This will dispel any illusion that you’re still in the decision phase.

2. Never go into any office unless you know for certain that if you insist, they’ll sign.

3. Under no circumstances, never ever bring the child to the appointment.

4. Do not sit there and be patronized by someone who knows one tenth of what you know about vaccines. As soon as the doctor starts his condescending rap, you stand up, hold out the form and say the following words: “I’m sorry doc. I didn’t come in here for your opinion. I came in for your signature. And I paid for it. So if you’ll just sign here, we’ll be on our way.”

Take control. Remember, the only thing that really matters here is that your infant’s immune system is allowed to develop naturally and unmodified, without the toxic assault of experimental vaccines.

There will be a list of MDs who will be disposed to sign off on exemptions at thedoctorwithin.com

3. Chiropractic Always Works

.
Just had a new patient who is 80 years old and never been to a chiropractor. Had multiple surgeries, joint replacement, diffuse DJD – 40 miles of bad road. You know the one. Chronic severe mid and low back pain. Said she had low expectations because of her age. I told her I had patients older than her who were pain free, full function. Seems like a lot of this old age stuff is between the ears. As long as they’re still breathing they have to follow the same rules of physiology as the rest of us, am I right?

So, as you might guess, after 2 visits she’s 40% improved. 80 years old. Just think if she’d come in when she was a 70 year old spring chicken. Or how about 30?

This is where the expectations of the doctor will vary with experience. The new guys might think, wow, this old lady is pretty far gone. I’ll be happy with some symptomatic relief – can’t unboil a hardboiled egg, and all that. But the veterans in the trenches know better, have much higher expectations. Hell, I can fix that. Another 2 visits and she’ll be 80%. Why I remember the patient who…

And here is where the power of intent again invokes the innate source. Who would put a limit on tapping into the universal pool that organized this carbon unit in the first place? Not the experienced DC. Point five seconds before the adjustment, the affirmation – I will get out of the way, I will intend for the connection to be made, her innate will be plugged back in. Something like that. Anything you say in this regard sounds both stupid as well as common sense, because it’s so self-ordering, self calibrating, self-evident.

And this is how new docs become experienced docs, isn’t it? Surprise – the results are 10x better than they expected. The dumb ones will say (for awhile) Jesus, I didn’t think I was that good. Then as time goes by, they don’t have to go to rah rah meetings to hear about the abundance and illimitable applications of chiropractic, because they see it and they see it and they see it.

Chiropractic always works. The only exception is at the morgue.

4. Excerpt from the new textbook –
Vaccination Is Not Immunization:

.
AB2109: THE END OF MEDICAL FREEDOM

In 2012 the most radical proposal in US history to end a parent’s right to make medical decisions for the child was introduced into the California state legislature. Masterfully disguised as a measure to better inform parents about the value of vaccines, AB2109 requires co-signature by an MD for the time-honored Personal Beliefs vaccine exemption – the philosophical exemption.

For the past 60 years, CA parents who didn’t want their children vaccinated simply signed an exemption form, and that was that. One form, no shots. But despite the schools’ best efforts to keep the forms a secret, and $12 billion in marketing by the pharma industry, the number of parents opting out had quietly increased year by year. Nationwide.

As the first incursion into California of Offit’s agenda to end vaccine exemptions in the US [335], AB2109 was the most powerful response Medicine-As-Government could come up with. Insisting that all medical doctors would sign the new form, and that the new law was no big deal, CA state legislators pushed the bill through, magisterially ignoring all opposition.

All MDs will sign? The opposite is true: almost no MDs will ever sign the exemption forms. Worse yet, most parents who inform their pediatrician that they want out of vaccines are dismissed from the practice. Everybody knows that.

The sordid details of the machinations that made this bill a law in CA are beyond the scope of this book. But they are easily accessed [1-6, ]

If you don’t live in CA, you need to read about what is likely coming to your town very soon. How this proposal plays out in your state will gauge how much residual democracy is still left there, as we saw in Vermont and Arizona.

GOVERNMENT AS MEDICINE / MEDICINE AS GOVERNMENT

In one fell AB2109 swoop, we entered a whole new era in government intervention. If the state can come in and say that suddenly after all these decades parents now need permission to have a personal belief about a medical procedure for their own children, what other doors does that open? Permission to opt out of a controversial, unproven medical procedure. What’s next? Permission not to euthanize? Permission not to get chemotherapy if one is diagnosed with cancer? It’s all possible.

WEST COAST GUINEA PIG

“They did it in California” is the slick new sales hook. Now that all the bugs are worked out, this legal trick to end vaccine exemptions will certainly appear in every state within the next 2 years. Just as the last edition of this book predicted, the spread of this disease is right on schedule. Get ready to see it up close and personal very soon at your school. Not exaggerating, not even a little. [335]

Oklahoma Chiropractic 27 Jul 2012

.
Hey Dr Tim!

Just wanted to jot down a few ideas while I can still remember them about the event. I’d have to say I can’t remember a more valuable chiropractic event ever in my career! Anywhere. And I’ve been to a few. But consider the expanse of ideas that were paraded across that stage in 2 short days. I mean of course everybody didn’t take everything in but, hell, all you need to make a weekend worthwhile is one or 2 zingers to take home with you that change your life. Am I right? In this case it was a zinger barrage! No wonder the frigging tornado alarm went off!

The ripple effect… and the real value of the weekend being not the presenters but the synergistic effect of all those people in that room coming into contact with all those ideas and all those other people that will definitely have some effect on their lives, both in the short run and in the long run. The energetic interface in that room from all those like-intentioned people was exponential, geometric. Logarithmic. And it wasn’t based on woo-woo false hype and phony rah-rah like so many conventions try to stir up. This was real, and solidly grounded on truth, facts, and immutable principles. We were in the zone, fully channeling the giants upon whose shoulders we stand. No one who was present could deny it, as I sure you’ve been told.

The choice of speakers was good, with each contributing to the general momentum. The enthusiasm in the room was palpable. Having heard what went down that weekend, I’d say the students in that room are so far ahead of most of the world’s chiropractic students.

I had never heard David Jackson before and was really impressed. He was very focused and obviously has a boatload of material that we just caught a glimpse of there. When you’re navigating the waters we’re travelling in, things can go in many different directions. Requires a plan, a recollected state of mind, and a focus to convey some simple message.

Oklahoma is an amazing pocket of evolved awareness of chiropractic values, unlike anywhere else in the US. Outsiders have to see it to believe it. It’s like the 80s or something! Sky’s the limit.

All things considered though, it’s astounding what you and FOCUS have accomplished in such a short time. It’s a living example of somebody with no formal training in promotion, following an innate calling to bring a unique message to 500 people who will value it enough to spend their time and money, and for many of them go to considerable inconvenience to attend, and to produce such remarkable results! You must be onto something here, dude!

Very grateful to be a part of FOCUS.

2. The End of Reflux

.
In the chapter Enzymes: The Key To Longevity we learn the definition of processed food: enzymes scientifically removed from natural foods for one purpose: shelf life.

Enzymes are protein and peptide complexes present in all living tissues and foods which are responsible for cell life. They are the most important component in human metabolism, effecting millions of individual changes every second of life.

Any nutritionist who can spell cat knows about the importance of enzymes in the diet. The presence or absence of enzymes is specifically what delineates a natural nutrient food from a dead processed food.

Estimates are as high as 80% of the diets of much of the population consist of processed enzymeless foods. Not much of a stretch. Look around. Fast foods, mall foods, snack foods, pizza, donuts, fries, pasteurized dairy, coffee, soft drinks– you get the picture. Cleanse or clog? — take a guess. Lifeless foods must have fake flavors added to them or else they would taste generally like cardboard. And it’s taste people are addicted to — mouth feel, crunch, sweet, salt, tingle, with fake aromas.

A very sophisticated science is required to disguise the inert blandness of processed foods. The flavorists.

Once inside the stomach, digestion is attempted. Now a different class of enzymes plies its trade: digestive enzymes attempt to beak these frankenfoods down to usable components. But human evolution is very limited – no enzyme ever invented in human physiology can hydrolyze creations like Velveeta, fries saturated in GM hydrogenated oil, complex snack foods and candy bars, with fillers that don’t even have to appear on the label, congealed hydrogenated pizza cheese, on and on…

The bolus cannot be metabolized. It remains in the stomach, maybe for several days. You get that feeling you’re already full, even at the beginning of a meal. That’s because the last meal is still in there, digestion never having occurred. But it’s meal time anyway according to the clock, so here come heaps of new processed foods down the shaft. Now the esophagus may fail, as digestive juices are splashed onto its delicate mucosa at the stomach juncture. Sharp pain ensues – heartburn.

We all pretty much know the scenario here. So then why don’t Tums and Prilosec end this epidemic of indigestion which NEJM estimates as more than 20% of Americans.

Because they take away the only thing that’s going to unblock the stomach: digestive enzymes. Heartburn stops, but so does intestinal motility. Now we’re blocked and really full. Further attempts at swallowing may come right back up.

Genius solution here: twofold.

1. Stop eating trash.

2. Start taking full spectrum enzyme supplements of the highest bioavailability.

A few weeks of that and the patients wonders why they’ve spent years in pain.

Just like the patient who discovers chiropractic and wonders why they spent so much of their life in unnecessary pain. No use looking back, but once you know, you know.

How did they know all that back then?

And this is the legacy we want to give away today, and trade it in for a scrip pad?

1. Spare Us the Philosophy –
Just the Science Please

.
It’s as old as BJ. Chiropractic evolved as an art, a philosophy, and a science. Actually the philosophy came last. Knowing that the world would not necessarily be attracted by a new system of metaphysics, BJ first focused on the science – osteology, neurology, physiology, subluxation. Today his original ideas are recognized and validated by the best orthopedics and best neuroscience.

But that’s not the science people talk about, is it?

With the continuing trend of our non-practicing vocal minority trying to expunge philosophy from the chiropractic profession, one of their routine word tricks is the one about We’d Rather Focus On the Science – you’ve heard it… We’re embarrassed by all this woo-woo philosophy, and we want to be considered real doctors, so let’s just focus on the science.

With this cliche, they then proceed to excuse themselves from any discussion of philosophy and chiropractic. Ever.

But the deception is, they never talk about chiropractic science either, like they promised. If pushed, they’ll talk about medical science. It’s the cheesiest of Bait and Switch.

Here’s the typical scenario:

Oh, so you’re a new graduate and you’d rather focus on the science of chiropractic, because that’s more tangible and respectable than discussions about philosophy, right? OK, that’s fine. So let’s hear some, Dr New Graduate. Give us 5 minutes on The Science.

So they’ll launch off into this rhapsody about the importance of differential diagnosis of this, this, and this, or the difference between gram positive and gram negative bacteria, how do to a George’s Test, so we can make the proper referral, etc, and don’t stray beyond our area… Merck Manual board questions on medical science – signs and symptoms and lab tests for drug therapy. All the endless minutiae that they memorized for Diagnosis class.

But wait a minute. They just changed the subject! What does any of that have to do with chiropractic?

You were supposed to be talking about the science of chiropractic. Remember? You’re the one who said you wanted to focus on it. You don’t get to substitute a presentation of medical science in the place where you were supposed to be discussing the science of chiropractic.

So let’s hear some chiropractic science. How about a few minutes on the science of the subluxation complex? Because after all, you are a DC, right? And you’re a scientifically oriented DC, right? Fine. Just making sure. So tell us a little about the science behind chiropractic.

Ninety five % are gonna go Deer in the Headlights on you, right here. Chiropractic science? What’s that? I thought science came out of Guyton’s. And Merck. And Widman’s.

Time to call them on this cheap trick. Their Trick only works if we don’t call them on it.

Diagnosis is not a substitute, or a better version of chiropractic science. In fact it’s the opposite – diagnosis is the imagined, objective validation for the sale of pharmaceuticals and surgery. That’s the antithesis of chiropractic science.

Chiropractic science? You mean there is such a thing, the new graduate or unanchored DC may ask. Just because you never learned any of the science of chiropractic doesn’t mean there isn’t any. Real DCs already know.

For starters, chiropractic was conceived, invented, developed and clinically proven for a century as an art, a science, and a philosophy, no matter who pretends it wasn’t. All three are well grounded, well elaborated, well referenced after all these decades.

Chiropractic science begins with BJ’s discussion of the subluxation complex: vertebral misalignment with a possible neurological consequence. There’s a prodigious amount of standard science validating BJ’s original notion of subluxation, twice as strong as any Orthopedic theories about Lhermitte’s test or Minor’s sign or the reasons we all need Lipitor.

First of all, the millions of clinical evaluations BJ performed in his lifetime correlating positive X-ray findings with neurological deficits, corrected by treatment. But that just got the ball rolling. In a very short time, all branches of mainstream physical medicine recognized Palmer’s idea of subluxation exactly as he defined it.

This continues down to the present time where virtually any mainstream medical reference will define vertebral subluxation the same way BJ did. Just a few examples, cited in the new Chiropractic Seminar (live and online):

White and Punjabi

Web MD

Free MD

Merck Manual

World Health Organization

But then in addition there’s also a much more profound level of scientific validation from standard orthopedic and neurological texts that have thoroughly characterized Palmer’s idea of subluxation:

Just a few that are covered in the seminar:

Ruth Jackson, MD – The Cervical Syndrome

Sydney Sunderland, MD – subluxation of apophyseal joints

Rene Cailliett, MD

James Cyriax, MD

Frank Painter, DC

Let’s not forget that it took decades for the defined concept of subluxation to be legislated as the legal niche and area of expertise of the DC, in virtually every state. All that work – do we really want to throw it out?

If so inclined, we can take the scientific discussion to the next level of neurology and introduce the work of Bernadette Murphy and Heidi Haavik Taylor, Neil Sivula and Carl DeStefano. The adverse effect of vertebral subluxations on afferent neurology. Not a theory: locked down tight. Altered afferent input causes incorrect cortical architecture to be reinforced in false patterns via neuroplasticity, resulting then in deficient efferent commands constantly being sent out.

Even this is just for starters. How deeply does one want to carry the discussion? I’d say at least as far as it takes to demythologize the lame mantra: “there’s no scientific evidence that subluxation exists…” This is a classic Edward L Bernays rote phrase by which the unlettered hope to disguise their laziness, that roughly translates to: “I don’t read.” And because I’ve never found any mainstream science material that proves subluxation is real during the time I wasn’t reading, therefore none must exist.

This is the New Intellectualism. The prevalence of the Lowest Common Denominator Mongrel / facebook/foxnews mentality of the omniscient permanent media defective. The epistemology of the one-second media blast from Yahoo news or the newsreaders at CNN, conferring the illusion to all and sundry that they know everything worth knowing without any attempt to learn.

When one finally becomes aware of the actual science behind chiropractic, after immersing oneself at least to an introductory level, the true student will then be prepared to be receptive to some basic philosophical ideas which support the science he has just been shown. Not necessary to believe in the philosophical principles, like one believes in Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny. No, now they are logical and empirical, since they correspond to the science one has already grasped.

This is the subject of the new Chiropractic Seminar, live and online.

So think of this article the next time someone tries to run the I Just Want the Science game on you. Be ready to throw it back in their face. Or at least to agree to disagree, for all you California Tentative Humans.

2. AB2109: ROAD TO OBLIVION

.
In its newest metamorphosis as a necessary measure to ‘prevent communicable diseases,’ AB2109 seems unstoppable.

Starting out as a bit of excess legislation which would make a Personal Beliefs Exemption no longer personal, by mandating an MD’s co-signature, this subterranean slime mold has now metastasized into a clarion call for mandatory vaccines, essential to protect us all from plagues which are likely to emerge during the next Olympics.

With all this PR, seems like only an act of God could stop this bill now. Or a flamethrower, perhaps. AB2109 is way beyond its so-called sponsor’s capability to present. No, this bill has all the earmarks of the classic East Coast think tank full-blown PR op about it. Far beyond the design capabilities of the California high-functioning Democrat to invent, AB2109 typifies the well-crafted flawless media creation of the Edward L Bernays full service masterpiece.

Rule One from Bernays 1928 text Propaganda: never present something controversial as itself, but rather disguise it as something completely benign. If it’s a radical change being introduced, hammer home the idea of no big deal, hardly any change at all, routine, etc.

In this case we have a law whose true agenda is to put an end to vaccine exemptions. Moreover, it seeks to confirm the idea that medical freedom is too much responsibility for the average citizen to bear. That’s what the Bill will really effect, once it’s passed. But that’s not how it’s being presented, is it? No, we’re just making sure parents who opt out of vaccines are fully informed, folks. No big change at all, by golly. Nothing to worry about. No problem finding a signature, etc.

The most recent camouflage of the actual intent of the bill came during its presentation to the Senate Health Committee. In the summary that was to explain what the bill was about, there is no mention of the co-signature required for the exemption form! This is the main provision of AB2109. If the member read only this summary, they would have no idea what the bill actually is proposing.

Here’s what mastery in propaganda looks like:

“…the Senate Committee on Health has passed AB 2109…to provide parents with health information that they can use to help protect their families and communities from communicable disease outbreaks like the whooping cough outbreak currently threatening families in California.

“California has previously passed legislation calling for children to be immunized for certain diseases that pose an immediate threat to public health. California is also one of only 20 states that allow parents to sign a form that excludes their children from having to receive the immunizations. AB 2109 would simply ensure that parents receive accurate information about immunizations from a licensed health care practitioner before they decide if they will sign the form.

“AB 2109 ensures that the expertise of 150,000 licensed health care practitioners statewide is helping parents make this critical public health decision,”

“This relationship is critical to ensuring decisions about vaccinations are informed by the latest, most accurate information.”

Let’s list the direct lies in this statement:

1. Doesn’t even mention the main provision of the bill, which is the mandatory MD signature a parent must get for the Exemption Form.

2. The information has nothing to do with protecting children from communicable disease. It’s about selling vaccines by outlawing legal exemptions.

3. Vaccines are the most likely cause of the current whooping cough cases, and at the very least cannot prevent the disease.

4. Not just 20 states, but all states but 2 have exemptions to vaccines. AB2109 will not ensure that parents have accurate information about anything. Most doctors won’t even make the appointment, and those that do will not sign. Most MDs don’t have accurate information about vaccines, except for those few that don’t vaccinate. And they’re not allowed to talk about it.

5. The parents have already decided to sign the form. They would never come in for additional advice unless they were forced to. That’s what AB2109 really is.

6. The “expertise” of 150,000 is not helping anything. Questioning pediatricians on vaccines reveals they have little or no knowledge of the most basic information on vaccine dangers. The presence of mercury, lack of safety testing, effects of defective myelination, attenuated lab versions of original disease microbes, overwhelming proof of association with autism, just for starters. They have no clue.

Neither are the committee members even interested in this information. Which may be one reason why they voted it in 7-1.

But in California, legislators rarely vote on the merits of any issue, and aren’t interested in learning anything new. They vote the way they’re told, in the direction of the winds of political expediency. You vote for my bill, I’ll vote for yours. Or, what deep pocket lobbyists are urging me to vote this way, and what are they offering?

Leaving out the main provisions of the bill, it all looks perfectly sensible. Vaccines are necessary to save children from disease, right? All this law did was to make sure parents are informed about the value of vaccines. No big controversy here.

And that my friends is what an E.L. Bernays masterpiece looks like. Disguise an annihilation of traditional basic liberties as something good, something sensible, something that will protect children, anything but what it actually is. And above all don’t do any reading beyond the superficial treatment expertly written by the real constituents. Regard all opposition as misguided fanatics.

Since they are losing the debate on vaccine safety, with more and more parents opting out every year, this is their desperation tactic: to outlaw the discussion. Make the debate irrelevant – end exemptions. That’s the hidden agenda here.

The frightful part is that people refuse to look at it.

Preparing for Worst Case Scenario:

Let’s say it’s 6 months from now and AB2109 is law. Hardly a stretch. And the new parents have looked at the literature and decided not to vaccinate, no matter what. So they actually get an appointment with one of the few MDs who will even entertain the possibility of vaccine choice. And the parent goes into the office and the doctor launches into his canned spiel about the importance of vaccines, etc.

3. NORMAL DIGESTION, WHEN ANTIBIOTICS CAN’T BE AVOIDED

.
In the Post Antibiotic Age we learned that antibiotics are for one thing and one thing only, life threatening or persistent infections. Period. Alexander Fleming said no ‘just in case’ prophylactic antibiotics. Remember?

OK, reread that if you need to. Now in a recent encounter with a life threatening infection, I had no choice. Not just a benign little dose of penicillin would work in this case, but one of the big guns – the kind with multiple system destruction at the same time it’s saving your life. Heart, kidneys, neurological, cognitive, collagen structures, etc. – all under attack. Even the possibility of neoplasm. Real big gun antibiotic.

That’s the classic trade-off in medicine: kill the infection without killing the patient first.

Everybody knows that one reason for hesitating in any recommended course of antibiotics is digestion and intestinal motility. Not rocket science here: the antibiotics will kill a large proportion of the body’s microbial ecology, good and bad. This will certainly include the normal gut flora, essential for complete digestion, as well as immune strength. And that die off will block you up, for weeks, even after the antibiotic.

Most powerful drugs also severely inhibit appetite. The wisdom of the body: it instinctively knows that the drug is directly attacking the whole digestive process, top to bottom. So it hesitates to introduce more food into an unworkable system like that. Some lower brain logic prompts the body’s instincts here.

There was a guy. University of Nebraska, 80s and 90s: Khem Shahani, PhD. Published in JAMA many times. Lifetime area of expertise: human probiotics. Realizing most commercial flora supplements contained less than 5% of advertised counts, learned why.

All this is in the chapters on Probiotics and the Colon. But Shahani finally came out with his own formulation, after years of failure. Put together a flora supplement that would actually make it into the colon, that could persist in a prebiotic suspended state for up to 2 years, could proliferate rapidly and then populate the entire colon. But one crowning achievement is that he persisted until the formula was also antibiotic resistant. Which meant that if people absolutely had to take antibiotics, at least they could maintain intestinal motility if they took abundant amounts of Shahani’s formula every day.

In my case with the super antibiotic drug, abundant amounts of Flora turned out to be 18 capsules per day. Seems like a lot of caps, but no patient ever complains of reaction to high end Probiotics, even in megadosing like this. Seems logical really – all we’re doing is populating the dead colon with normal probiotics – all beneficial, no detrimental systemic effects.

It’s the best kept secret for the patient forced to take antibiotics. Rule one of course is try to avoid antibiotics. But in the case of life threatening or persistent infection, when there really is no alternative, at least the patient may now be confident that one of the worst side effects – intestinal blockage – can be avoided altogether.

Thank you Dr Shahani! Our regards to Buddha.

5. Excerpt from the new textbook -

Vaccination Is Not Immunization:

.
“The human species is subject to the same laws of natural selection as all other life on earth. Those with the weakest immune systems drop out.

“The immuno-suppressive effect of the immense viral load being forced onto the young through vaccines over long periods of time will certainly cause their line to have the least chance of replication of a viable progeny. It will dilute their DNA forever.

“In the US during ?the past 50 years, where the vaccine load has been increased by more than 2500%, look at what is already clearly observable in the health and intelligence of our children: fatter, sicker, dumber. Play that pattern forward another 50 years, 100, 200. Nature will always take its course.”

1. Pulling Out The Claw

.
You know this patient: comes in bowed down, pain and disappointment all over his face. Low expectations. Soon as the first 3 sentences come out, you already know the rest. You even know what the X-rays are going to show.

Patient says “It feels like there’s a claw reaching in right here, at the base of my neck, going very deep, and squeezing, tightening, with a shooting pain down the upper arm….If I could just reach in there and pull it out…”

Ever hear that? And you’re thinking, oh the Claw Story – got it. Like from that old Jim Carrey movie.

After that you can do whatever dog and pony show you need to do, and of course you’ll need X-rays. But nothing really matters until you make that first adjustment, does it? You have to be really incompetent not to resolve these symptoms in a short time. Even bad chiropractors can fix this one. Correction may take longer of course.

After one, two, or a few adjustments, what do they say? “Wow, doc it feels like somebody just pulled out this wire cable that was wrapped around my spinal cord, strangling it! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! …”

Sound familiar?

But think about this patient’s options, realistically. Where has he already been? What has he already been told? What has he already tried? The pain is real and constant and incapacitating. And the geniuses are just saying their lines “It’s just muscular, it’s just soft tissue, just put heat on it, try BenGay, take these muscle relaxors, aspirin should work, the MRI was negative……” like it’s some inconsequential little muscle soreness not worthy of their attention.

But a subluxation like this can be debilitating, especially once it gets established, where the patient never found about chiropractic. And in this situation chiropractic is the only thing that will work. So what percentage of these cases do you think ever find their way to the DC’s office? 1%? 5%? Nobody knows. Who would compile that data? But it’s a safe bet that problems like this are epidemic in US society.

Without chiropractic, this patient will eventually accept failure after failure and become resigned to a new and lower quality of life. As time goes by, range of motion decreases, pain is chronic, arthritic bone remodeling – the whole 9 yards. Epidemic.

All because no one told him about the power needing to get turned back on. Or else they told him that they could laser it or click it or core exercise it back in to place. Anything but adjust it.

Chiropractic: We Specialize in Claw Removal.

Whatever it takes. Chiropractic cures the cases that other doctors couldn’t cure.

All we have to do is say it. Tell them about it.

And then do it.

What a great profession!

3. Mute DCs: Silence of the Lambs

.
BJ Palmer on AB2109:

“… there exists a breach between Innate people and ‘educated’ people. The smaller group are non-conformists; the larger group are conformists. When Innate flashes come to the smaller group, the larger group of educated people develop innumerable complex arguments endeavoring to prove the smaller group wrong. To deny contact between the smaller and larger groups was the chore undertaken by the larger group.”

- The Glory of Going On – p 58.

That’s what we have with AB2109 – denial of contact. Virtual blackout of media stories covering the true import of this bill. This is their most powerful tool – keep it quiet. Because if average semi-comatose Californians are explained en masse what AB2109 really portends for the future, the bill will be voted down. Who in their right mind would vote away basic medical freedom, like the right to choose care for your child? So the best way to get it passed is keep a lid on it – deny contact. Or pretend like it’s about something else.

Even after all these months, most Californians have never heard of AB2109. Except for a social media page, what other organized opposition is there to the single greatest attack on medical freedom in California’s history? 2000 out of 35 million? That’s denying contact. If AB2109 passes this will be why. The larger group has done a great job denying contact. Public debate? Right!

Even after all these months most DCs have heard about AB2109 but they have not taken a stand on it. Reason: too political. If we can attract attention for the moment to our oratory or website or page, we might talk about vaccine toxicity. But taking a stand? This is our one chance to actually do something. Right now. Hey, let’s advertise a meeting to come and ‘let your opposition be heard’ to AB2109. And you get there and, sorry it’s too controversial. We’re gonna talk about something else. Or more commonly, silence. We don’t know which way the wind will blow, so we’re mute. No comment.

So what I want to know is – for all you DCs suddenly struck dumb only on this one issue — who got to you? Whether you live in California or you don’t, AB2109 is coming to your town. It is the antithesis of everything BJ stood for.

Think he might have spoken up?

To get counted, please follow up on Californians Against AB2109 facebook page. Or else just send your state senator the Letter below.

______________________________________________________________

4. SENATORS’ LETTER

.
For those who are contacting state senators offices about AB2109, the arguments about vaccine safety as outlined in my book Vaccination Is Not Immunization, are not something most of them are equipped to launch into. The following letter, however, they will understand. Feel free to use it:

“To the State Senators:

Let’s say that next week a law is passed in California that all state legislators must now get the new flu vaccine in order to take their seats for the next session. Not so hypothetical, because many companies and private organizations are requiring vaccines all the time for their employees.

And you’ve done your homework and come to realize the new flu vaccine contains the unproven H1N1 vaccine, which the American people rejected in 2010. {Which this year’s flu shot actually does contain.} So you decide you’d rather not get it. Because after all, vaccines are for kids, right?

No problem – there is a way out. There’s always been the Affidavit of Exemption form whereby you simply state that the vaccine may be harmful to your health and a threat to your immune system, so you are opting out. Sign the form, end of story.

But not so fast. There’s a rider to the new law. It states that any exemptions must be co-signed by an MD. You must get permission to refuse the recommended vaccine. And you just found out the MDs aren’t signing because they don’t want to get a reputation for being anti-vaccine. Even though they promised they would when the bill was being passed.

OK, now go back to top of this page. Read it again. That’s what AB2109 is proposing.

How do you like it?

Sounds a little different when it’s not only about forcing other people to get vaccines they choose not to get, but includes you as well.

Fair warning: that’s what you’re voting for here.

Consider the precedent.

5. Parents’ Most Reliable Vaccine Book For 2012:
Vaccination Is Not Immunization

.
This is the brand new 2012 Second Edition of the book, a complete re-write, not just a reprint of the old book. ??The most reliable book for parents who want to end the confusion once and for all on whether they should vaccinate or not.

If you’ve read an old version of this text, it’s out of date. So much has happened in this field this past year which has not been in media. Quick look:

The Peanut Allergy Epidemic: how vaccines have been found as the proven cause of over 1 million children hypersensitive to peanuts, now the #1 cause of child anaphylaxis ??-

The new Shaken Baby industry, which can be a cover-up for vaccine injury ??-

The ongoing Autism Epidemic, affecting between 2 -4 million children today and NIH’s refusal to look for the cause

This research is effectively banned from mainstream media. As always though, each fact, each statistic is meticulously documented from the best sources available. The solid references make this information bulletproof.

The vaccine industry today is in a panic. It can no longer keep these secrets hidden. More and more people are learning about the actual physical brain effects on their children, and they’re opting out, signing the exemptions. That’s what all the hysterical new law enforcement of school vaccines is really about.

With all the effort it takes to opt out, it’s not the lazy or the uninformed folks deciding not to vaccinate.

Do you even know what Prevnar or Human Papilloma Virus, or MCV4 or DPT – do you even know what these vaccines are?

And even if you do, wouldn’t you like to know what the scientists who make the vaccines have said about them, down through the decades? Or are you going to get all your information from the clinic that makes its living selling vaccines, just roll over, and vaccinate your kid?

Takes a little reading but it’s not that difficult to learn the story here. You can read this book in a day or so.

We are shocked to find that many medical doctors know the information in this book and do not vaccinate their own children. But they’ll vaccinate yours. The majority of the endorsements on the back cover of the book are from medical doctors. Here’s one of the most recent:

“It is impossible to estimate the true value of Dr O’Shea’s work. His review of the history of the vaccination industry is vastly more thorough than that taught in medical schools and decisively more balanced. ??”… O’Shea has once again blessed us with a resource that will allow parents to make an informed choice, and for medical professionals to take pause at what they had been indoctrinated to believe was valid science and good medicine.”
